HARRIS – Garnet Health Doctors has reestablished OB/GYN care at the Garnet Health Medical Center Catskills campus in Harris, led by Medical Director Dr. Irvelyne Camille. The practice expands local access to comprehensive women’s health care services throughout Sullivan County.
CEO Jerry Dunlavey noted that when Crystal Run closed its Rock Hill practice, he was alerted by them and immediately worked to serve their clients at the new location. This recognizes the vital need for these services among women in Sullivan County,” he said. “This practice complements the hospital-based services that we provide here at Garnett Health Medical Center, Catskills,” he said.
Emergency room Dr. Pamela Murphy spoke passionately about providing for women’s health. “The commitment that these doctors make to our Sullivan County women and children is amazing.”
Dr. Camille said that she is here to stay and serve.
“There’s been some damage over the years and, you know, our goal, of course, is to kind of rebuild our relationship, so to say that, yes, you could trust us,” she said. “We are here to stay for many, many years to come,” she said.
