KINGSTON – Governor Kathy Hochul headed a star-studded cast of elected officials today as Congressman Pat Ryan (D, NY-18) formally launched his re-election campaign.
The governor was joined by, among others, State Attorney Geneal Letitia James and State Senator Michelle Hinchey (D, Saugerties), as Ryan, a former Ulster County executive, addressed an overflow crowd at the Senate House Garage in Kingston.
Ryan, a Democrat, is facing a challege this fall from political newcomer, Republican Jackie Auringer..
