SOUTH LANCASTER — The 158th annual United Campmeeting is being held in town this week and the public is invited to attend the plethora of meetings and programs offered for all ages.

This year’s theme is Welcome Home and the weeklong event that runs through Saturday, June 27 is held at the campgrounds adjacent to the Seventh-day Adventist Southern New England Conference (SNEC) headquarters, 34 Sawyer St. There’s plenty of free parking and the focus is on worship, encouragement, and community.

Keynote speakers include President of the Southwest Region Conference Dr. Carlton Byrd, Assistant to the President of the General Conference Pastor Mark Finley, SNEC President Pastor Edgardo Herrera, and many others. There are daily meetings for young children, youth, teens, and adults, along with excursions, activities, and a whole lot more including live music, women’s ministry gatherings, and an exhibit tent featuring a variety of resources.
