Lunenburg woman helps support families

Lunenburg resident Laura Barooshian, front, second from left, recently served on the Host Committee for The Baker Center for Children and Families’ 20th annual Golf Tournament. Barooshian is first vice chair of the Board of Trustees and chair of the Development Committee. The Baker Center, a Boston nonprofit organization, provides mental health care and support services that help children and families thrive. This year’s event raised more than $140,000, the highest total in its history, and has now surpassed $1.5 million raised over the past 20 years.
