He’s less than a year old, and definitely more shiny than rusty, but Rusty the Australian cattle dog is showroom fresh.
He has a lot of energy and personality. According to volunteers at Second Chance Animal Shelter, “he’s in his teenage phase and loves to play, explore and be part of whatever you’re doing.”
He’s a handsome fellow, with a dark muzzle, perfectly-flopped ears and a solid stance. He has dashes of cream fur on his coat, and, as you can see, has expressive eyebrows. Rusty is a smart pup, but definitely needs continued training — so a patient and committed family (without cats) can help him grow into a well-mannered adult dog. He responds to positive reinforcement, and he’s a loyal and fun companion.
