POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. — Coach USA has been awarded the contract to operate the Hudson Link bus service, the New York State Department of Transportation announced this week.
The Hudson Link connects communities on both sides of the Hudson River between Rockland and Westchester counties, offering direct access to . NYSDOT officials said riders should expect minimal disruptions to service during the transition.
Coach USA will take over from current operator Transdev during the weekend of June 27-28. NYSDOT said some transitional activities may temporarily affect schedules, mobile app and website information, ticket vending machines and onboard scanners. Officials thanked riders for their patience during the changeover.
Hudson Link buses have undergone inspections ahead of the changeover, and will continue to offer ADA accessibility and bike racks for up to three adult-sized bicycles, according to NYSDOT.
NYSDOT said it will work with both Transdev and Coach USA to ensure a smooth transition. Updates will be shared as they become available.
