PAWLING- A Pawling man was spared jail time after pleading guilty to reduced charges.
Dylan Tuz, 34, was arrested by Ridgefield police for allegedly making inappropriate gestures toward underage girls.
Tuz was identified as the suspect and after State Police at Brewster made contact with him, Tuz turned himself in and was charged with two counts of risk of injury to a child, two counts of public indecency and two counts of second-degree breach of peace.
In Connecticut Superior Court Danbury, Tuz received an effective sentence of five years’ probation after entering guilty pleas to one count each of risk of injury to a child and public indecency. By agreeing to the bargain plea, a magistrate suspended a 10-year prison term plus five years of probation on the risk of injury charge, and a suspended six-month jail sentence and two years of probation on the public indecency charge.
The March 2025 incidents were not a first for Tuz, according to Deputy Assistant State’s Attorney Tori Ludwig, who said during his arraignment last year in Danbury State Supreme Court that he was “on house arrest in New York for similar behavior.”
