JEFFERSON VALLEY- Two Westchester residents face felony charges for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars’ worth of merchandise from the Macy’s store at the Jefferson Valley Mall.
Yorktown Police announced the arrests Wednesday of Lawren Jackson, 34, and Nigel Dubois, 38, in connection with the reported thievery.
Authorities said Macy’s security contacted police providing officers descriptions of the suspects, who were detained in the store’s parking lot before a patrol arrived.
Investigators allege the pair worked together to steal multiple items from the store with a combined value of $3,749.25.
Both suspects were charged with larceny. Dubois also faces charges of possessing burglar tools and being a fugitive from justice.
Jackson was released on her own recognizance after arraignment. Dubois, who had an active warrant from another jurisdiction, was turned over to the Westchester County Police Department and remanded to the Westchester County Jail without bail.
