FITCHBURG — River Run Bancorp, the joint mutual holding company for Rollstone Bank & Trust, Pentucket Bank and Newburyport Bank, has promoted Edith K. Joyce to be senior vice president and Treasury Services director, based out of Rollstone’s Harvard office.

Joyce brings over forty years of industry experience to this expanded role, in which she will provide executive leadership and strategic direction for River Run’s treasury management sales and operations teams, including its specialized Government Banking sector. In her new role, Joyce will drive revenue growth and deposit acquisition through proactive business development and the deepening of existing client relationships. She advises on the banks’ strategy across treasury technology and products, while fostering high-level collaboration with the banks’ commercial lending, business banking, retail and operations teams to integrate treasury solutions into broader banking strategies.

“Edie’s deep expertise in treasury management, combined with her consultative approach and commitment to client service, make her exceptionally well-suited to lead our Treasury Services division,” said Karen Murphy, chief banking officer and executive vice president. “We look forward to the continued growth she will bring to our commercial banking portfolio and our clients.”

A dedicated community leader, Joyce serves on the Advisory Board of the New England Association for Financial Professionals and as board member and treasurer of Global Arts Live in Cambridge. She is also a corporator of Open Sky Community Services, Inc. in Worcester, and volunteers with Groton Hill Music Center in Groton and with numerous other nonprofit organizations.

She was recognized as a 2025 Honoree in the YWCA of Northeastern Massachusetts’ Tribute to Women program.

“I am honored to take on this expanded role at River Run and grateful for the trust placed in me,” said Joyce. “Treasury management is at the heart of how organizations across all industry sectors operate and grow, and I am passionate about bringing our clients the expertise, solutions, and service they need to thrive. I look forward to continuing to build on the strong foundation of this team and deepening the partnerships that make this work so meaningful.”

Joyce holds an MBA from Babson College in Wellesley and a bachelor of arts degree in Visual Arts from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester. She is also a Certified Treasury Professional, a designation earned from the Association of Financial Professionals
