Comedian Sinbad is making his return to live comedy following a stroke that left him unable to perform.

The 69-year-old joker plans to make his comeback at California’s Ice House Comedy Club in Pasadena Wednesday night. He posted video on Instagram telling fans that have been badgering him about returning to the stage that the wait is over.

The funnyman, born David Adkins, said he hasn’t been able to walk since his health took a turn for the worse in 2020. He said he plans to “get my feet” with this week’s show and a second performance at the same venue on May 10.

Sinbad will have two opening acts, including a newcomer he’s excited to see.

“One of them is kind of new in the game, it’s my daughter Paige Bryan,” he announced. “That’s the first time we worked together as comics on stage. I’m looking forward to this because she talks more trash than I talk.”

Comedian Chase Anthony is also part of the act. Both shows are sold out.

Sinbad suffered a stroke after a blood clot traveled from his heart to his brain, his family said in 2022.

He made his return to acting in the 2025 Tyler Perry film “Straw.”

“He delivered,” Perry told Entertainment Tonight when the movie opened in June.

Sinbad made a name for himself on the televised talent show “Star Search” in 1984, where he competed with future “Saturday Night Live” star Dennis Miller in the comedian competition.

His acting career took off when he was cast as Coach Walter Oakes on “The Cosby Show” spinoff “A Different World” in 1987.
