CLINTON — Clinton Savings Bank (CSB), recently donated $3,500 to the Icon Museum and Study Center in celebration of its 20th anniversary.
The contribution reflects CSB’s ongoing commitment to supporting local cultural institutions and community organizations. The Icon Museum and Study Center, located in Clinton, is known for housing one of the largest collections of icons and art displays.
The funds donated by CSB were used to produce three large exterior banners that are displayed on the building, increasing visibility for both pedestrians and drivers encouraging them to visit. The museum is also planning an event later in May to formally celebrate this anniversary to bring increased community engagement and to continue its outreach work.
“The Icon Museum and Study Center is truly a unique place here in Clinton, as it is the only specialized museum for icons and Eastern Christian art in the United States,” said Mary T. Dean, President & CEO of Clinton Savings Bank. “Through its scholarly programs, lectures, conferences, and internships, the museum and study center inspire human connection and deepen cultural understanding. Their commitment to diversity, accessibility, and integrity reflects our own values, and we are honored to partner with them in enriching our community.”
