The Westford Conservation Trust, in partnership with Westford Climate Action, sponsored a series of hikes for Earth Month, with the first walk held on April 4.

Hikers gathered at the end of Buckingham Drive to explore the Beaver Brook Trails, where residents from Westford, Billerica and surrounding towns enjoyed a springtime walk through a variety of landscapes. Participants followed trails above Beaver Brook, walked beneath the power lines, and stopped to admire a majestic 192‑year‑old white pine. The series highlighted local conservation areas and offered an opportunity to connect with nature close to home.
