SPRING VALLEY – Police in the Town of Ramapo are trying to piece together the discovery of a dead man under a truck on Park Avenue in Spring Valley.

The victim, believed to be between 27 and 34 years old, was found last Saturday morning. 

Police said there is no indication that the vehicle itself was involved in the incident and preliminary information suggests the incident did not occur immediately prior to the discovery.

Police have yet to positively identify the victim, but they say investigators are actively pursuing leads that are expected to assist in confirming his identity.

There is no known threat to the public, authorities said.
