WESTTOWN – Todd Lyons had a vision for Echo Fields when he bought the scenic 180-acre farm in the Town of Minisink more than two years ago, and it all centered on family and fun.
Echo Fields has become Lyons’ own Field of Dreams. He and his family have put love and work into the agrotourism attraction, and it continues to grow.
Echo Fields features indoor and outdoor activities and games, a market with fresh produce and local meats, an activity barn, art displays, corn mazes, disc golf, and a pumpkin patch in the middle of rolling fields. The venue has live bands, food trucks, and mobile bars.
“What makes Echo Fields special is the sense of community it creates,” said Lyons, a successful businessman. “It’s a place where people can slow down, spend time together, and just enjoy being outdoors. That’s something you don’t always find anymore, and we’re proud to offer it.”
Each year, Echo Fields, located on Pine Hill Road, has new amenities, often developed by Lyons. For the 2026 season, an amphitheater was built and a silo was repurposed into four bathrooms. Lyons took a 1980s Airstream camper and turned it into a full commercial kitchen with a wood fired pizza kitchen, where farm-to-table food will be served.
The Echo Fields Saturday Night Concert Series (5 to 8 p.m.) begins on May 2nd with a different band playing every weekend through October 24th. One of the headliners is Whey Jennings, the grandson of country music pioneer Waylon Jennings.
“There’s a lot of heart behind this place,” Lyons said. “It started as an idea, and now it’s a place where people are creating their own stories and that means everything to us.”
Echo Fields opens on May 1st and is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays. For more information, email [email protected].
