WESTMINSTER — Forbush Memorial Library is hosting a week of fun events during National Library Week beginning today through Saturday, April 25, with the theme “Find Your Joy.”

Stop by to try mini-golf set up throughout the library, follow clues in a week-long scavenger hunt, and on Wednesday, April 22, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., test your aim with cornhole games on the library lawn.

“All events are free and open to the public,” said Cheryl Robbins, president of Friends of Forbush, who is hosting the event along with the library. “Come explore, play, and enjoy the adventures awaiting for you.”

This national observance highlights the role libraries play in bringing communities together, offering special events and providing free resources to all patrons, including special focus days for library workers and advocacy.

The Forbush Memorial Library is located at 118 Main St. Library hours are Tuesday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
