Tree falls on truck in Princeton Monday morning

PRINCETON — The Princeton Police reported that two people were sent to the hospital with injuries after a tree fell on a vehicle driving down Fitchburg Road Monday morning.

“The crash was caused by a random act of nature — a tree fell as a truck was traveling on Fitchburg Road. Unfortunately, the occupants of the vehicle sustained injuries and have been transported to the hospital,” said a press release posted on the Princeton Police Department Facebook page.

Police, EMS, and Fire responded to the serious motor vehicle crash and diverted traffic, eventually reopening the roads shortly after.
