MONTGOMERY – The Regional Food Bank’s Fresh View is a free event that will feature a panel discussion exploring partnerships between local farms and the charitable food system. Recently, the Food Bank’s CEO, Tom Nardacci, and Richard Ball, Commissioner of the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets, were on the radio show Ciliberto and Friends and talked about the importance of collaboration.
Commissioner Ball said, “The theme of this roundtable is going to be about the collaboration between agriculture and the players involved there. This needs to be this has to be the decade of collaboration from now on.”
CEO Tom Narduzzi said, “We have this new facility. We’re expanding our partnership with farmers. We couldn’t have a better partner than we have with New York State. programs like Nourish New York that allow us to take New York state funds and buy directly from New York farmers.”
The event is open to the public, but you should register with the food bank in advance.
