POUGHKEEPSIE – Members of the Dutchess County Drug Task Force were observed executing a search warrant at a residence on Winnikee Avenue in Poughkeepsie on Wednesday afternoon. The raid at 211 Winnikee Avenue took place around 5 pm near the intersection with Cottage Street.
Task Force Coordinator Detective Sergeant Adam Harris told Mid-Hudson News that the search warrant was part of an investigation that was prompted by neighborhood complaints of illegal drug activity in the area.
Additional information regarding the raid, Harris said, would be forthcoming.
