VFW to host Easter Egg Hunt in West Townsend

WEST TOWNSEND — Townsend VFW Post No. 6538 and its Auxiliary will host their annual Easter Egg Hunt at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 4, on the VFW grounds, located at 491 Main St.

Children ages 9 and younger who live in Townsend, or who are relatives of Townsend VFW Post or Auxiliary members, are invited to participate.

Participants should gather in front of the VFW Function Hall before the 2 p.m. sharp starting time, and children are asked to bring their own bags, pails or baskets to collect their “finds.” Families are encouraged to allow children to enjoy the hunt independently, without adult coaching.
