PRINCETON — Skiers and snowboarders flocked to Wachusett Mountain on Sunday, Feb. 22 to enjoy going down the slopes in the lights ahead of the blizzard that began that night into Monday, dumping many inches of snow across the region.

A collection of international flags displayed on a large snow pile at the scenic Princeton spot pays homage to the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games, which wrapped up with the closing ceremony that evening.
