LEOMINSTER — The annual family friendly drive-in movie tradition held at city hall on Feb. 17 drew hundreds of people who enjoyed pizza, popcorn, candy, and more.
Leominster Community Development posted in the event page that community offerings like this “take a whole team to put on.” They gave a huge thank you to Project Apples/Leominster CFCE “for once again providing the detail station” for kids to personalize their cardboard box cars, supplies including construction paper, crayons, scissors, and glue.
The children spent a lot of time creatively decorating their boxes before getting food and snacks and settling in for the feature — “The Bad Guys 2.”
Leominster Community Development also mentioned All One Credit Union “for once again adopting this event and volunteering,” Lushrx Aesthetics Leominster sponsoring the cardboard boxes, Fraticelli Oil and Propane sponsoring the drinks, Workers Credit Union sponsoring the popcorn, King’s Corner Learning Center and Life Care Center of Leominster sponsoring the snacks, and “a huge thank you to Stefan and our friends at Pizza King for generously donating the pizza.”
