PRINCETON — Known for their luminous harmonies and quietly powerful storytelling, The Parkington Sisters craft songs that feel both intimate and expansive. Their sound — a graceful blend of indie folk and chamber pop — draws from classical traditions and Americana, infused with a gentle melancholy that lingers long after the final note.
As winter hangs on, Princeton Arts invites the community to step into an afternoon of music and reflection when The Parkington Sisters perform at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 21, at the First Congregational Church, 14 Mountain Road.
Sisters Rose, Sarah and Ariel Parkington are accomplished songwriters and expressive multi-instrumentalists, weaving together guitar, piano, violin and viola in performances that feel deeply personal yet finely arranged.
Daughters of a progressive rock musician and a classically trained guitarist, they were raised in a home where music was a shared language — one that continues to shape their rich collective voice.
The concert is free and open to the public; a suggested donation of $10 will be accepted.
The concert is made possible in part through grants from the Barre Savings Charitable Foundation and the Princeton Cultural Council. Princeton Arts is a nonprofit organization dedicated to nurturing and celebrating the arts throughout Central Massachusetts.
