TOWN OF WALLKILL – Barnes & Noble is scheduled to open a new location at the Galleria at Crystal Run in the Town of Wallkill at the end of 2026.
The nation’s leading bookseller will be located on the lower level next to Macy’s. The new Barnes & Noble store will cover over 19,000 square feet, including a café, and carry books, as well as a wide range of toys, games, vinyl and a wonderful selection of paper and gifting items usually found at Barnes & Noble. The bookstore will feature comfortable reading areas where customers are encouraged to linger, spend time, and enjoy discovering their next favorite read.
“Barnes & Noble is an iconic brand that resonates across generations, and we are excited to welcome them to Galleria at Crystal Run,” said Darrin Houseman, General Manager of Galleria at Crystal Run. “Their arrival further strengthens our tenant mix and reinforces the Galleria’s role as the region’s premier shopping, dining, and entertainment destination.”
Barnes & Noble operates approximately 600 stores across all 50 states, selling more than 190 million physical books annually. The company was founded in 1971 by bookseller Leonard Riggio when he acquired the Barnes & Noble trade name and bookstore in New York City.
