Simon says “adopt me!”
This 7-year-old terrier/beagle mix is the kind of pup who makes everyone say, “Wow, you are one chill fellow.”
According to volunteers at Broken Tail Rescue in Worcester, “he comes with some factory-installed manners. He’s lived with other pets and knows ‘sit,’ ‘paw,’ ‘other paw’ (he’s an overachiever), and has clearly dabbled in ‘heel’ at some point in his life. And when you go for a walk, he’s responsive to commands and keeps his cool — and he loves playing fetch.
He is recovering from pancreatitis and is in good health, but will need low-fat prescription food and regular exercise. Also on his wishlist: a home with active adults and teens who are committed to his “glow-up journey” (he still has 10 pounds to lose).
