GROTON — Crafters and artists are invited to refresh their supplies while sharing unused materials during an Art and Craft Supply Swap from 2 to 4:15 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 15, at the Groton Public Library, 99 Main St.
Participants may bring new or gently used arts and crafts materials to the library’s circulation desk between Feb. 10 and Feb. 14, then return on Feb. 15 to swap items for something they can use. Donations are encouraged but not required to participate.
Accepted items include reusable arts and crafts materials such as fabric, yarn, paper, tools, paint, beads, patterns and vinyl. All items must be in new or gently used condition, not expired and small enough to fit in a car. Organizers suggest following the “best friend rule” when donating — only bring items you would feel comfortable giving to a friend.
Space is limited, and advance registration is recommended. The program is made possible by the Groton Public Library Endowment Trust.
For more information, or to register, visit the library’s calendar at gpl.org.
