LUNENBURG — Looking for a fun, relaxing way to tap into your creative side? The Lunenburg Public Library invites adults to its monthly craft group, a welcoming, judgment-free space where makers of all experience levels can unwind, experiment and connect through hands-on do-it-yourself projects.
Each month features a new craft, making the group perfect for both seasoned creators and curious beginners.
February’s featured project is String Art Hearts, with two sessions offered, at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 4, and at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 5.
“Participants will create festive Valentine’s Day decor using wooden string art kits, weaving colorful string around heart shapes to craft a beautiful piece to keep or gift to someone special,” said Lydia Paolilli, Lunenburg Public Library assistant director.
For those who love a little extra flair, decorative gems will be available to add sparkle and personality to each design, and themed “love potion” mocktails will be served to set the mood.
This program is open to adults ages 18 and over. Space is limited, and registration is required (one session only).
All materials will be provided, and no prior experience is needed.
“All you need to bring is your imagination, said Paolilli. “We welcome you to rediscover your creative spark, meet fellow makers and craft something truly useful. We can’t wait to create with you.”
