An insider said that Zhang Youxia was detained at the August 1 Building.

According to exclusive information from The Epoch Times, Zhang Youxia was taken away on the spot by relevant authorities before attending an internal meeting at the August 1 Building, the headquarters of the Central Military Commission. Security arrangements at the scene had been adjusted in advance, and Zhang Youxia himself did not resist.

A Beijing-based insider disclosed to The Epoch Times that security deployments at the scene had already been arranged in advance at the time of the incident. Zhang Youxia was not carrying weapons, and his security personnel did not enter the meeting venue.

The insider stated that Zhang Youxia’s security detail had already been adjusted by relevant departments several months earlier. On the day of the meeting, the guards at the entrance required his security personnel to remain outside the door. Although the guards were armed, they were not allowed to enter the meeting hall.

According to the source, during the process of taking Zhang Youxia away, there was brief physical contact between on-site personnel and his security guards. However, Zhang Youxia himself did not resist and was then quickly taken away from the scene.

The above claims have not yet been confirmed by the Chinese Communist Party authorities.

Additionally, Chinese commentator Cai Shengkun also revealed that Zhang Youxia's personal guards were all replaced about a month ago.

By the way, this is only one of the different versions regarding the details of how Zhang was arrested.

Another popular version was that he was arrested at the Central Party School on Jan. 19.  The Epoch Times' report above didn't give out the date of his arrest.

Another, more "dramatic" version says that Zhang Youxia was arrested inside the Central Military Commission compound, and that Zhang Shengmin, the only remaining member of the Central Military Commission, acted as an “inside collaborator” by opening the compound from within, allowing personnel from the Ministry of Public Security Special Service Bureau dispatched by Minister of Public Security Wang Xiaohong to enter and swiftly arrest Zhang Youxia.

This version is the most shocking, but fewer people believe it.

More people believe the above two versions of a “peaceful arrest.”

So which version do you believe?
