Snow fell across the state during a storm that came off the coast over the weekend, dumping several inches of white, fluffy flakes in the Twin Cities and surrounding region — making for pretty winter scenery. The National Weather Service reported a total accumulation of 4.5 inches from a measurement taken in Fitchburg at 4:30 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 19.
