FITCHBURG — Funds raised through the 45th annual Fitchburg East Rotary Super Bowl Brunch will go towards scholarships for local students, donations to area nonprofits, and local and international humanitarian projects.

The always well-attended, popular event is coming up on Sunday, Feb. 8 from 8:30 a.m. to noon at Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School, 1050 Westminster St., the same day as the big game. It features a large spread of delicious food, raffle baskets and silent auction items up for grabs, and the opportunity for community members to come together and support a good cause.

Fitchburg East Rotary Secretary Meghan Driscoll is spearheading the affair, collecting donations for the raffle and silent auction and putting everything together.

“The Super Bowl Brunch for the Fitchburg East Rotary promises a morning of delicious food, community spirit, and spirited discussions as local leaders and football fans gather to celebrate the upcoming big game while supporting charitable causes,” she said.
