POUGHKEEPSIE – and the American Red Cross have announced a new partnership that designates Dutchess Outreach as an on-call emergency food provider that will support local individuals and families who have been displaced by disasters. Through this partnership, Dutchess Outreach will be able to provide fresh meals in Dutchess County in the wake of a disaster, reassuring locals by giving them access to food in the wake of catastrophe.

“At Dutchess Outreach, we believe that even in the hardest moments, there is room for hope,” said Renee Fillette-Miccio, Executive Director of Dutchess Outreach. “By partnering with the Red Cross, we can bring that hope to life — through fresh, locally sourced ingredients and meals made with care. Every plate we serve is a promise that our community will always stand together. When emergencies strike, we’re here to remind our neighbors that they are never alone.”

Dutchess Outreach is the county’s largest food security operation and has been serving Dutchess County for more than 50 years, providing meals and community connection to those who need it most. The partnership with the Red Cross focuses specifically on emergency food response as both organizations emphasize how this partnership strengthens local readiness for disasters.
