CARMEL – Members of the Carmel Fire Department joined Mr. and Mrs. Claus on Christmas Eve prior to heading out and sprinkling the Putnam County seat with holiday magic.
Soon-to-be retiring Chief Robert Lipton Jr. led the contingent of volunteers by delivering smiles, candy canes, and photo opportunities with Santa, Mrs. Claus and the elite Elf Task Force.
Residents of all ages rejoiced when hearing the sounds of cheer.
Chief Lipton noted said, “Maximum holiday spirit was achieved. Merry Christmas!
