FITCHBURG — IC Credit Union has announced the conclusion of its 2025 Great Holiday Giveback program, with more than 70 local charities and nonprofit organizations selected to receive donations.
Nominated by IC members and team members, selected charities received $1,000 donations made in the nominator’s name. In addition, every charity nominated by IC team members that were not selected for the top award received a $100 donation. In total, $25,400 was distributed to 70 local nonprofit organizations, some receiving multiple donations — supporting communities throughout Central Massachusetts.
Now in its fifth year, the Great Holiday Giveback continues IC’s commitment to strengthening the communities it serves.
“This program allows both our members and team members to directly support organizations that are making a meaningful difference,” said Christopher Hendry, president and CEO of IC Credit Union. “It’s inspiring to see the impact these nonprofits have and to help further their important work in our region.”
The nominated organizations represent a wide range of causes, including animal welfare, children and family services, and cancer research and support. Each plays a vital role in assisting and empowering individuals and families across the community.
To highlight the impact of these organizations, IC invited nominators to share, in their own words, why each charity is so important to the community it serves.
