LEOMINSTER — Habitat for Humanity North Central Massachusetts celebrated with a ribbon cutting at the new 650 North Main St. location of its ReStore on Dec. 11, marking an exciting new chapter for the organization and the community it serves.
Habitat NCM extends its heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us for this special occasion. The strong turnout and community support made the day truly memorable as we celebrated the continued growth and impact of the ReStore.
A special thank you to the North Central Massachusetts Chamber of Commerce for hosting the ceremony, and to our distinguished guests: Leominster Mayor Dean Mazzarella; Fitchburg Mayor Sam Squailia; State Rep. Natalie Higgins; State Sen. John Cronin’s Director of Communications Jacob Simopoulos; and Minister Lynne Dolan of Pilgrim Congregational Church of Leominster. Their presence and support underscore the importance of the ReStore to the region and its mission.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to Hannaford Supermarkets and The Daily Bagel Café for providing delicious refreshments that helped make the celebration even more enjoyable.
Habitat NCM is deeply grateful to our incredible ReStore and office staff, and to every dedicated volunteer whose time and effort made this milestone possible. An especially heartfelt thank you goes to Werner Thissen, whose vision, leadership, and tireless commitment continue to inspire us all. His passion for excellence and dedication to making this the best ReStore possible has been truly unmatched.
The Habitat for Humanity NCM ReStore plays a vital role in supporting affordable housing and critical home repair programs throughout the region. Proceeds from the ReStore help fund Habitat’s mission of building strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter.
We look forward to opening our doors very soon and welcoming customers to shop, donate, and support Habitat NCM’s work in the community.
