WESTMINSTER — The Forbush Memorial Library invites the community to join the Westminster Cookbook Club from noon until 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, at the library located at 118 Main St.

Each month, the club selects a different cookbook for participants to explore. Members are encouraged to read through the featured book, choose a recipe, prepare it at home, and bring their dish to the meeting for a shared potluck lunch and discussion.

The gathering offers food lovers a chance to discover new culinary voices, compare experiences in the kitchen, and enjoy good company.

This month’s selection is “Fat + Flour: The Art of the Simple Bake” by Nicole Rucker, a celebration of approachable baking and bold flavors.

Copies of the book will be available for checkout at the Adult Circulation Desk.

During the meeting, members will also discuss ideas for future cookbook selections, including suggestions for January’s pick.

“The cookbook club has been very popular with those that have taken par,” said Jason P. Cavanaugh, Reference Librarian, Forbush Memorial Library. “It’s chief chef, library director Deric Wilson, is hard at work with plans on where to take it in the new year. We hope folks will continue to enjoy this yummy program in 2026 and beyond.”
