STANFORD, CA – Orange County Executive Steven Neuhaus is attending the National Associaton of Counties Leadership Conference at Stanford University this week.

The two dozen local officials invited to the event are discussing leadership and national security and how it applies to localities, said Neuhaus.

“We are in the process right now of having a real time data center that we are going to be implementing with our 911 operators, so we need to make sure we are getting the right software and buying what we think we need to make the county residents safer,” said.

Neuhaus also said the conference is hearing from former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, retired General HR McMaster, and retired Marine Four Star General and Secretary of State James Mattis.
