Youtube Is Not Worth Ending Your Life Over

Hello everyone, I just got a PS5 a couple of days ago, and I'm still working out some of the adjustments on it, but I always use the PlayStation to record my audio, so that's what I'm doing here. I thought this video needed to be made because there are just way too many young people out there taking YouTube way too seriously. Despite me telling them that there are other alternatives to YouTube, and that there are other ways to get what they're wanting. They're wanting to make a career out of YouTube, and some of them are willing to take their own lives if this doesn't happen for them within a set period of time. YouTube is not worth taking your life over. It's not. I'm not going to out this person, but the video I watched last night, he seemed a little too serious about it. He said he's been on YouTube for eight years, and he just recently got slammed with a with a indecent content strike. Whatever the hell that means. I mean I saw the video that he's talking about, and yeah, okay. I could see where it would be viewed as being indecent and not fit for, you know, children, but to be fair, he also had it on the 18 plus category, and and really, there really is no place on YouTube for that, but on the other hand the guy really wasn't doing anything that other bigger channels haven't done, so of course the bigger channels get a pass because they're bigger channels, and they make YouTube money, but this guy, he seemed upset to the point where he said that he would take his own life if he didn't if he didn't get his channel strike removed, and if he couldn't get anywhere on his channel after being on there for eight years. I've been doing YouTube for 13 years. I've been doing this since 2010, and the YouTube channel I have now is my third channel, and it's also my most successful, and I started it in about 2015, maybe 2016, but in one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight years I got maybe 230 subscribers total. That's all I've got, but I never once considered trying to end my life because I can't get anywhere on YouTube because I don't do this for money. I don't do it for views. I just do it for a hobby. I do it for fun. I do it to interact with people, and that's basically all I do it for, but some of these younger people, they live their entire lives online, and it's and it's kind of sad really, but if you see somebody who says something like this, or you hear that somebody's wanting to end their life because they're not getting anywhere on YouTube, point them out to other alternatives. Point them out to other ways of doing things, or tell them to, you know, I mean, I really don't know what to say to this. It's just it's just ridiculous how some people are, but at the same time, I sort of get where they're coming from. They're, they kind of pour, they kind of pour a lot of themselves into their projects, and YouTube just fails to recognize that because YouTube is YouTube, and they don't give a ---- about anything but money. I just never understood, understood that. I guess it's where I'm older. I just don't understand why anyone thinks that every time they get on YouTube, or they make a channel or something, that they're gonna instantly make all this money, and I just don't get it because it doesn't happen.
