Come spend a day with me in Bắc Giang—my mom’s hometown. From busy morning markets to peaceful countryside views, this place holds so much warmth and simplicity. It’s the little moments, the kind people, and the connection to nature that made this trip
so special. 🌾✨🥺 #XinChaoSummer

Welcome back to my third video of Xin Chao summer.
I want to take you guys to Bac Sang to see what is a typical day for the people here.
The day here is that early at six. Then we heading to the village market
to get some breakfast and fresh food for the rest of the day.
This market only open on weekends and we use the term market meeting to describe everyone
gathering together. My favorite parts in the market is definitely the little animals.
You can't get enough of the ducklings and puppies.
They are so adorable and full of life, definitely attract most people here.
And after breakfast we headed to the crop field where everyone
plant their crops and prepare for the next seasons.
Bac Sang is my mom's homeland even though she doesn't grown up here
but it contains a lot of her childhood memories. She told me about those carefree summer days
when she had great times and had so much fun until tirelessly fell to sleep on the porch.
Honestly, I do enjoy this place so much that I could immerse myself in it.
I join people planting rice. This is one of the common job people here do for living.
I was over the moon to get that experience.
Can you spot what animal is hiding there? The nature here definitely bring that in the
peace and take us far away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
After an hour of resting and lunch break, we head back on the field and working hard.
During the summer month, June to July, the sun scorching heat during the day.
Yet, our farmer will work both hard and painstakingly without any complaint.
As the harsh sunlight begin to soften, appear the beautiful sunsets
like a quiet thank you to the hardworking farmers.
People here are so warm, friendly and kind. Actually, that is something you will feel
all across Vietnam. No matter where you go, in the bottom of their heart, people welcome you to stay.
And during this trip in Vietnam, I truly felt the kindness everywhere I went.
Take an example on the field today. After finishing working on our field,
our neighbor still had sections unable to finish. Without any hesitation, everyone came over to
help. They don't hope for anything in return. People just naturally help each other.
And to me, that's what kindness about. It wasn't anything big or fancy,
just small thoughtful things embedded in everyday human connection.
Such little moments but it really reminded me how important it is to look out for one others.
I hope to share this among others and myself so this kindness doesn't fade but keep growing.
We headed home for dinner and let's call it a day.
Thank you so much for watching. See you in the next videos.
