What's going on everybody, this is SilentHopperTV coming to you from Aludinese in the Turkish
Riviera in Adventure's Paradise.
Let's do it!
First up, we're going to spend some time in Aludinese, show you guys around the Blue Lagoon,
go out to the Butterfly Valley, enjoy some Turkish food, and see what's up with the paragliding
scene out here in Aludinese because that's a very popular thing to do.
And then head over to Fedya.
And here we are looking at the Blue Lagoon here in Aludinese.
This is the morning time and we're checking into our hotel called Unsal.
These rooms were under $100 each per night.
And as you can see, the Turkish Riviera where we're at now is subtropical.
It's actually a very lush area around here.
With high mountain views, allowing these paragliders to really have an awesome world-class experience
while diving into Aludinese.
And you can see the landing strip for those paragliders is right in the town, right along
the beach here.
And if you're one of those types of people who want to do paragliding, it's around $95
per person.
They take you up to the top of the mountain and that's where you begin your descent into
the town of Aludinese above the Blue Lagoon.
And down along Aludinese Beach here, you have these umbrellas with daybeds that you can
rent.
Also, several different restaurants all up and down here.
If you go inland a bit, you also come into some markets and bazaars.
Really a popular place, in particular, with British tourists.
Alright guys, so what we're going to do is a quad safari.
Let's go see what's up here.
This is the transport to get us from the beach to the location.
And you might want to consider bringing some eye protection, some goggles or glasses, and
a bandana.
We're going to get some mince kebab.
If you look right behind me, you can see the kebab.
Alright, so we got some mince kebab, some chips, and we got another dish coming, which
I'm going to show you here in a moment.
Great kebab right here.
Alright, so we're going to try some new food.
It's called panese.
We've got cheese filler here.
The restaurant we ate at, it's called Konek Kebab.
Pirate boats are your thing.
We got pirate boats here in Old Inez.
Yeah, let me tell you, these pirate boats are serious business out here in Aludinese.
I mean, they got the Viking boat, they got the Robinson boat.
So many different boats, especially if you're a pirate fan or a kid, you're going to want
to check this out, this activity.
Yeah, I mean, as fun as those pirate boats look, unless you're drinking some cocktails,
a private jet boat is probably better.
And actually, thanks to Ezra, we're getting this jet boat at a really good price.
So come see Ezra right here on the beach.
Hello.
Yeah, you can find Ezra right there on the beach.
She gave us a really good deal on this speedboat, so thank you to her for making that happen.
And now we're off to do some swimming, see the Blue Cave, and check out the Butterfly Valley.
And if you guys are enjoying this travel guide from Aludinese, please consider hitting the
like button and subscribing to the channel, turning on the bell.
That helps get the video out to a larger audience.
And guys, you won't believe it.
We did go swimming, but the GoPro footage became corrupted.
It doesn't work.
So we don't get to show you what it looks like.
You're just going to have to go there for yourself.
The same thing happened at the ATV.
The GoPro footage, because of a software update, I guess was not compatible with this software.
So I apologize.
But swimming at the Blue Cave and hanging out on the beach at the Butterfly Valley is
something I highly recommend.
And of course, right now we're pulling into the Blue Lagoon.
You can see the calm, gentle blue water here.
It's actually like a aquamarine color.
And yes, they do have beach clubs right there on the shorefront that do get going.
You can hear the music pounding late into the afternoon and the early evening hours.
Yeah, I'm really glad we got this speedboat.
Thanks to the driver right here.
And Ezra, who got us on the speedboat, talked me into it.
Ended up being the best thing that I've done in like the last week, for sure.
I got to drive the speedboat, check out Butterfly Valley, the Blue Cave, and the beautiful Blue Lagoon.
I mean, this is perfect.
Now we're just out here at sunset, just relaxing.
And that's me sending a signal to you.
Don't forget to like the video.
Sunset and nighttime are definitely my favorite times.
I would say, followed by morning time.
Afternoon, it's a bit hot here.
So, find other activities to do.
And it's just the vibe they got down here at night.
They have the night market.
They have food.
They have drinks.
They have parties going on all up and down the streets.
Yeah, this is handmade recycled metal.
That was 60 lira.
That's actually around about 3 bucks.
If you guys are looking for a good bar right here in town, Friends.
So right here next to the beach, in Oldenish, you have an old Byzantine church with mosaics on the ground.
Full English breakfast right here in Turkey.
Alright, so we're going to try our first Turkish bath.
Yeah, if you haven't ever done a Turkish bath, it's basically a full body scrub.
And they really clean you up.
Obviously, we can't film in there for privacy reasons.
But, it's something that I would definitely recommend you try out at least once.
It includes a sauna and a bit of a massage.
And after a good time in Oludeniz, now we're headed to Fethiye, where we're going to do some archaeological stuff.
And we're also going to walk around the markets here.
Both towns, definitely worth checking out when you come to the area because they're so close.
Different vibes though.
And here in Fethiye, you can see the Tomb of a Mantis.
This is an ancient Greek rock tomb, also associated with Lysanian culture.
And even though it's immersed in the city itself, you really do get some Indiana Jones kind of feeling around here.
So we came up onto the hill here to Amintas.
It's 20 lira per ticket, per person.
But these are old tombs.
So we're going to go up here and see what's going on with these beautiful carvings into the mountain.
So the people who built this, they definitely carved into the stone.
It appears to be a tomb. That's what they say, right?
Actually, when you get up there, you can see the intricacy of the detail that they put into the carving.
Pretty amazing.
So now we're actually in the town of Fethiye and we'll go walk around and see what this place has to offer.
Yeah, the old market bazaar here has lots of spices, dried fruits, cafes, shopping.
Really a nice place.
Oh, by the way, you can also get a ferry to the island of Rhodes in Greece from here.
But for now, let's take a stroll through this old market and show you what's going on in here.
So we ended up getting a bag of dried fruit here.
We got some papaya, some mango, pineapple, and some strawberries.
Tastes delicious.
Dried fruit all over the place here.
So Fethiye is the biggest town near Oludeniz and you can walk around the old town market like we're doing right here.
Very nice, relaxing, peaceful stroll through here in the afternoon.
And it's got lots of shade.
Well, I was in the market for a new hat and I got one.
Alright, now we're going to take a stroll through the marina area here where the boats are and nearby the ferry port.
Down here on the waterfront you can actually get a day cruise all the way over to Oludeniz if you wanted to.
They have the butterfly valley tours or you can just go out cruising, island hopping, doing whatever you want to do.
But you can do all that right here on the waterfront in Fethiye.
And what we're going to do now is we're actually going to walk around the town a bit more and show you what the sights look like.
So you know what to expect when you come here.
And since this was our last day in Fethiye, we ended up getting a nice apartment and we stayed here relaxed.
And you can see just how nice this apartment is right next to the marina.
And it's our last day in Turkey, so we're actually getting a really nice meal here at this restaurant with beachfront views.
And because it was our last day in Turkey before we went on to our next destination, which you'll have to stay tuned for, we ended up getting some exotic foods like caviar.
This is actually my first time ever ordering caviar, so we're going to give it a whirl.
Alright guys, that's going to conclude this episode from Uludeniz and Fethiye, and we will see you guys from the next destination.
So turn on that bell to get notified when that one comes out.
