How i got 1 million followers and my tips on how to grow your channel to 1 million.
I'm going to tell you how I got 1 million followers
and some of the lessons I learned on this journey. And this video is a promise
that I'm going to reach 10 million followers.
So let me tell you what I learned. Lesson number one.
Faith. Something inside of my heart knew I could do this. But along the way
you will doubt yourself and you'll fall and you'll stumble and you'll trip.
But there's something inside of you that knows you can do it.
But it doesn't make it easy. The certainty almost makes it a challenge
and it becomes pressure. And you have to remember that
the journey is fun too, not just the destination. Because once you do get a
million, what then? Nothing changes. You're still the same person and what
you do has to bring joy into your life. So lesson
number one. Do something that you know is of value
to you. To people that watch you. And that it can get you through the hard
times. Because if you can't get through the
hard times, you're not going to make it. Making content is like opening up a
restaurant. You can't serve every single food in the
world. So you have to choose a few items. But you can always have a special menu.
Like I love making movies. But I also make
content for strangers and I approach strangers.
And making a movie takes a lot of effort. So like fast food, I try to create as
much content as possible in order to reach 1 million.
But if I had a choice, I'd make movies. And you'll see that
I'll start making movies more often.
No one owes you ----. Not your friends, not your family.
Nobody needs to like, comment, or share any of your things. Just like a
restaurant, if you stop making good food, people
stop coming to eat. Just make good content. People will come
and sometimes things slow down. That's okay. People have different tastes.
They want to do fine dining. They want to eat McDonald's. They want to eat
Chipotle. It's okay. As long as you make good food.
Honest, authentic, ethical food content. People will come to consume your
content and you will grow. Sometimes if you make
someone feel like a friend, they'll show up to your page just to
hang out with you. That's the biggest lesson I learned.
Show your face. Show your personality. Show a message
that they could stand behind. And then they'll show up no matter what you talk
about, what you post. Because you have a consistent message, a
personality that they have fallen in love with.
And finally, I want to say thank you. Thank you all for making 1 million
possible. Especially you baby. Thank you for loving me and supporting me more
than anyone else. Thank you. Thank you guys. Truly this
channel has changed my life and I'm so grateful and thankful.
Thank you. Thank you.
