We Tried HORSE & BUGGY Wheels on a Motorcycle !

Today is a pretty interesting episode. We have here on the table a 200 horsepower super duke and as you could see on the thumbnail already we're gonna have a pretty interesting test today. I'm quite nervous because what I told Tomas a few weeks ago, Tomas come up with a cool idea what we can do with the super duke. How the heck did you come up with the idea to put buggy wheels on a 200 horsepower bike and how did you pull it off? I mean I watch a lot of youtube, that's the first step. Obviously. I see all the stuff that's happening so of course I saw like the video from whiskey and diesel. I should put it on a car. I was searching for and I couldn't find if anybody did it on a bike so that was my challenge. You started getting material together and after a week you had both wheels done. It was even less than a week. Let me show you the wheels. They are pretty heavy. Full metal. How the heck did you pull off in a week to make them? You said they already fit. I mean we live in an age of new technology so we have a 3d scanner 3d printers and so on so it was a lot easier to do than everything by hand. The first thing was we have a 3d scanner. It's the einstar rocket by shining 3d which is a company that from since 2004 is developing and making accessible 3d scanning and software. So they sent us a unit right? Which one did we get? We get the einstar rocket and that was the first thing I did. I removed the rear wheel, I scanned the the swing arm, the calipers and everything and then I put everything into CAD. Then I started just modeling. I didn't even measure a single thing on the bike. I just started modeling and I had a wheel. What was the challenge when you started to make the wheels? To make it round and straight because it's made from nothing. A wheel should be straight and round right? From the 3d scan I made a 3d print that holds these pipes in this pattern and so just put them in and tack them all in place. So yeah and now we have buggy wheels for the super duke. Guys if you want to get those wheels you can check, no I'm joking, you can buy those. It's not, I hope it's safe enough. We will see. No I never, I didn't try. We're not gonna break the wheels. We're not gonna break. We're gonna see, find out. Okay let's put them on the super duke and let's see if I survive this episode. This is also the rear fits but I don't, I didn't even test the front one so I hope I measured everything right. Okay let's see. Man already that metal sound it's crazy. I've already seen it mounted but it's first time for you. Oh my god let's see how this is gonna look. This is crazy man. What I'm asking myself is how I'm gonna get grip even and how this is gonna work if I just lean a bit. The big question is why did we choose a 200 horsepower bike, why not a smaller 390 duke? Because it looks better you know one-sided swing army. Yeah okay that's true yeah that's true. Everything for the looks and for entertaining you but I had to make some offset because I wanted the wheel in the center. Oh yeah true yeah. You needed to fit also this brake here so I have at least the rear brake that's good already. Real horse carriage has no brake so you got one more. But real horse carriage doesn't have 200 horses, this one has. I am not nervous usually when we shoot videos but on today's video and I'm super nervous to ride this bike on these metal buggy wheels. Okay and now the front wheel. Let's turn the bike. Okay now front wheel moment of truth. Bro what the heck did you build here man? Oh we are actually going 100 years back you know. We are working with the newest technology but devolving we are actually building old technology with the new technology. This doesn't make any sense man. Man look at how tiny and narrow it is from the front view. This looks super weird. Hey wait by the way where do you mount the disc brakes? Don't tell me now I don't have front brakes man. Like in the old times there are no disc brakes. Oh are you serious man? You die like real man. Oh my god how I'm gonna ride this man. Oh it's dangerous enough I need front brakes man. This doesn't work but at least I have the rear brake let's say. I have a feeling this will not end well today. Okay time for the first test. I wanted already to grab the front brake but he removed the front brake that I don't mistakenly count on my front brakes. So I need to learn that I don't have any front brakes. It's kind of a speedway style. Let's start the bike let's see. I think it's fine. It looks fine here. Hey it's a bit better on the grass. Man it's such a weird feeling but we need an upgrade. I need more grip on the tire. Let's see well let's see with Tomas if he can upgrade grip on the wheels otherwise I'm not able to ride with that thing. What are you building just for you guys to entertain me? This is so weird you feel every bump on the road on the rim surface. I can't really lean. Oh my god man first test done. The neighbors already watched at us like we are completely nuts. I need some more grip. We want to go to the town now. We got some impressions from our local people but for that one do we have an idea? I need more grip actually. I'm gonna try to make him a tire so give me half an hour. Okay test number one done. As you can see the rubber is not on the wheels anymore. What did you use to attach it man? I used contact adhesive and screws but it didn't hold. So back to the drawing board let's figure out how we can attach it. Rubber is now on. We drilled a few holes added a few bolts. I think it's gonna hold a little while. Okay one thing is left here this doesn't fit to my how should we name that thing now? It's a horse. It's a horse. It's a super horse. Super horse boggy wheels but my outfit doesn't fit the whole look. Let's change that. Here it is. I am ready now. My Mexican cowboy boots. What are those? What are those?
