whether you're paying attention to college dance or not, you've probably
come across clips of the dances this weekend on social media. Performances
of the team's competing in Orlando this weekend are garnering millions of
views on Tiktok and other social media sites, one of them being from the
University of Minnesota. Double D. C. C. O. S. Mario Mose caught up with the
team about this growing attention on the national stage. It was definitely
the best I've ever performed. Senior Grace Kish left it all on the dance
floor Sunday morning, competing at nationals with the University of
Minnesota dance team in Orlando, Florida. While this team is focused on
bringing home the win, they've already won the hearts of many online as their
dance has gone viral on Tiktok. Grace and her head coach, Amanda Gaines, say
the attention is nice, but they're still focused on the competition. We're a

was the first year the team became double national champions. They've gone
on to earn 21 national titles since it truly is our love letter to the legacy
that is University of Minnesota dance team. So it's been really special to
get to share it with the alumni and the fans and just everyone who supported
the program. Trying to get the state of Minnesota out there. Kobe Rouse is the
team photographer for the Gophers and several other Minnesota college dance
teams competing. His videos are contributing to the viral hype of this
team. And all of a sudden there were 100,000 views and there's over 1.5
million on just four little clips of the U of M's jazz routine. He hopes his
videos show how talented these college athletes truly are so they can get the
recognition they deserve. My mission is to get this to be an NCAA sanctioned
score. Mary almost WCCO News. We just learned that the Gophers got second
place in jazz behind Ohio State University, but they did take home
first place for their palm routine.
