I wanna see the light
Hello everybody, my name is frozen donut
Um, I am actually not infinite aviation, but I'm actually making a trip report for him today. So hopefully you enjoy
When I arrived at the airport the check-in process wasn't slow, but it wasn't fast it was alright today's gate was d-66
It wasn't too far from security and the food court. So I'm not complaining
Today's flight we had the opportunity to fly on Iceland's air
Northern lights livery. They only have one of these planes in their fleet
So I was very excited when I was notified that I got this plane
Unfortunately, I could not find a spot to film the side of this plane
Boarding was quick and easy and every seat included a pillow and a blanket boarding was quick and efficient. No complaints
Iceland air also gives you complimentary water right when you get on board the plane a
Safety video was played on every screen and was in English and Icelandic. This is what the safety video looked like
Do your seat or armrest?
Put the life jacket over your head. I said the best
When leaving the aircraft inflate your lifejacket
Taxiing took a very long time because we had to taxi all the way to 26 left
But the pilot decided to speed up the planes that went a little shorter
Here is our takeoff on runway 26 left. Hope you enjoy
Slender's entertainment system is jam-packed with lots of media including movies and TV shows and even has kids games
On their display. You can also check in with the flight anytime if you want. You just have to click in the top left
Kef and then I'll tell you how far you are away from the flight
Iceland air also has a thing called saga shop, which you can basically buy airplane models and other Iceland air
Accessories. It also has a USB port on the TVs as well
I decided to try out their Wi-Fi and it is slow
It was $18 Canadian for the entire flight. It was not worth it though because it was extremely slow
Also Bluetooth headphones will not work on this flight. You will need an aux cable if you use those
The tray table was actually a pretty good size, but is never clean. Otherwise, it's pretty good
The headrest is actually really comfy and you can also adjust it so you can lean your head on it better
Leg room is actually an issue. I'm 5'11 and I didn't have that much room
This flight was actually really cool because it was never dark. The Sun was always up
Today's flight cruising altitude was 37,000 feet
Here was our landing into Keflavik. We landed runway 11
This is a sightseeing spot
Now the moment you guys have all been waiting for the overall flight review
The service on this flight was actually really good. I would rate it an 8 out of 10
The food was all right. It was about standard airline food
I would rate it a 7 out of 10. The flight crew was extremely kind and positive
I would give them a 10 out of 10. No complaints on their end
The landing was pretty firm and was kind of hard. It was a 5 out of 10
Overall, the total flight was only an 8 out of 10
They could have improved on the food and the service a bit more
But otherwise, it was a great flight and I enjoyed flying with Icelandair
