Topic : The importance of quality education in shaping the future

Ladies and gentlemen, do you believe that class can change lives? Well, it may sound simple, but the answer is yes. And that's the power of education. First of all, I would like to pay my highest and greatest respect to the Chair of Ceremony, Bell Team Management Teams, Honorable Judges, and all my dear participants. A very good afternoon. My name is Ha Trang D, a contestant from Bell Team International School, Level 6, Group 2, Campus 15, Chumphu 1 Market. Today, I have a great honor to stand right here on the stage to deliver a speech under the topic of the importance of quality education in shaping the future. Before starting my speech, I just want to let you all know two key words first. According to Oxford Dictionary, the word education means the process of receiving or giving systematic instruction, especially at school or university. Second, shaping means the act of influencing or determining the nature or the development of something. Well, though it's time, let's move on to our topic. Education is not just about books and exams. It is the key that opens the door to success, growth, and a better life for all of us. Quality education helps us become smarter, kinder, and more responsible. It is not important for one person. It is important for everyone, every community, every country. So, the first point is, education helps us learn, grow, and understand life. Education is the foundation of our personal growth. It is beginning by learning how to read, write, and do basic math. But education is more than just books and numbers. It helps us understand how to like books, learn about history, science, technology, nature, and different cultures. We also learn how to make good choices, how to plan for the future, and how to take care of our health. Without education, people may not know how to solve problems, make smart decisions, or understand what is right and wrong. Second, education helps families, communities, and countries grow stronger. When one person gets good education, it can help many others too. Like, an educated mother is more likely to take care of her children's health and send them to good school. An educated father can find a better job to support the family. When more people in the communities are educated, the whole communities may become safer, cleaner, and more peaceful. They can work together to solve problems, build businesses, and help each other. And a country with educated people can grow faster and stronger. This shows that education does not help one person. It helps everyone around them. Third, education helps build peace. Well, I have one question. Do you know what this is? Hey, what do you think, y'all? Come choose about it. This is not a simple sign or a show sign that every girl do, but take a photo. As I see, there's a lot of people doing it like this. Like this or else. In fact, this is peace sign. Quality education teaches people to solve problems without violence. It helps them choose calm, respect, and fairness. In places with good education, there's less fighting and more safety. So, when students learn about quality education at school, they will grow up to create peace in their home, communities, and the whole world. Also, according to American civil rights leader who fought for equal rights for black people, Martin Luther King Jr. have said that peace is not the absence of war, but the presence of justice. Last but not least, education builds confidence. Education helps people believe in themselves. When students learn new skills and do well in school, they feel proud and more sure of what they can do. This confidence helps them speak clearly, try new things, and face challenges without fear. This helps people grow stronger in size and ready to reach their goals. So, in my final consideration, education is a key to a better future for every person, every community, and every country. It also helps us live good life, build peace, and confidence as well. So, let's just remember this simple truth, which is about a child without education is like a bird without wings. It means a bird without wings cannot fly. It's tough, right? Similarity to a child without education that cannot develop, grow, and achieve their goals in the future. So, if you want to live good life in the future, you need to start by getting good education today. And before I end my speech, I just want to remind you one more time that education is a key to a brighter future for all of us. So, I hope you all study hard to get a good education from our school, to develop ourselves, our communities, and our country in the future. Then my topic is come to the end.
