The Ministry of Education and Sports informs all teachers in government and private institutions to register online by logging into the Teacher Management Information System. That also includes the teachers that have already retired, or those who are almost retiring, or those who simply qualify. The most difficult part of all is the registration process. It's a very complicated and expensive process. But imagine teachers come all the way from upcountry to the Ministry of Education headquarters to register. Imagine the queues at the Ministry of Education. But I heard you can even register with your phone. Exactly. The application process has been made extremely easy. The TMIS website www.tmis.go.uj has a step-by-step easy-to-follow process to guide us. Step 1. Open up an email address. Step 2. Using your browser, navigate to the TMIS website directly at www.tmis.go.uj to start the registration process. Enter your details as requested and click Next. To continue to the next step. Step 3. You will then need to check your Gmail for a confirmation code. Check your spam mail if there is a delay to receive your code in your inbox. Step 4. Enter your confirmation code, then proceed with the other details to be filled in the form to continue. Step 5. Enter your education background and subject stored, then attach scanned certified copies of your academic documents in PDF issued by the teacher training institutions that you studied at to become a teacher. Step 6. Do not forget to upload a recent passport size photo in the settings area of your TMIS profile. Enter the name of your station if you are already in service. Step 7. Preview all information you have entered before submitting it. When satisfied, click the Submit button to complete your application. Step 8. You will be notified if your application has been successfully submitted. A certificate will be sent to your email in the comfort of your home upon certification.
