The Shadows - Theme for young Lovers live on Final Tour

Well thank you very much and good evening everybody. It's fabulous to be here in Cardiff again and just to be in Wales in fact and to see you wonderful people out there tonight. We as you know are here on our final tour and it is great that we're back again as the Shads for this tour and we're thoroughly enjoying it. I want to introduce you to two people on the stage with us tonight that have been working with us on and off over a great number of years. On the keyboards, composer, arranger, great jazz pianist Cliff Hall. Another great composer, arranger, guitarist and bass guitarist tonight on bass guitar Mark Rivers. Thank you. We want to take you back to the early 60s and play two instrumentals that we played in a movie. It was a movie that we were in with Cliff. I'm speaking of course of The Young Ones and these next two tunes are from that movie. The first was a little instrumental ballad which was the B side of the record and the second tune is not a ballad. It's a little more savage but we'll start off with the little ballad which is called Peace Pipe.
