This video short has got almost 35 million views in a month and 15 million views in only
a week.
On the first day uploading, it had under a million views, but that number was multiplied
more and more the days after.
The content creator is also a successful case, with an impressive avenue of $542,000 to $8.7
million each year.
So after watching many successful videos like that, I had finally figured out the exact
formula to consistently go viral on YouTube.
Many people only share basic tutorials within a certain niche, which is mass produced, but
believe me, you will end up with zero views or cannot monetize after all the effort you
put in if following those tutorials.
But I'm totally different.
What I will give you right now is the right, full and free formula that top creators have
used to blow up all of their shorts.
But before jumping into it, don't forget to hit like, subscribe and comment below what
you feel about this video, or you can also share this to your friends so they can also
be professional YouTubers in the near future.
Now we gotta go.
Have you guys watched this movie?
Now imagine that you were lost in the maze with incredibly high walls.
So what can you do first to escape from that?
Understand how it works, right?
As you can see, this guy even built a model of the maze to have a clear insight about
it.
So can you.
All the thing you need to know is that YouTube only pushes videos with the most engaging
content and there is nothing to do with luck.
To create an engaging video, you have to have a great video idea.
Just look out for trends in your niche.
Head to Google Trends.
Here's where you can find any trending topic and keyword in any niche.
For example, if you like movies, you can search for arts entertainment.
As you can see, these are the top trending topics that most people search for.
You can choose one of them to add to your video to make sure it goes viral in any circumstance.
Now let's get back to this video.
Do you know how it can become viral?
This creator makes videos for kids and he knows exactly what kids want to watch the
most.
Prank!
As for our perspective, we may find those videos rubbishy, but as for children, they
find them interesting and they will watch them again and again without considering anything.
So pretend that you are one of your audiences.
Ask yourself a question.
What do you expect to see?
We used to be babies, so we know clearly what a baby liked the most, right?
A fairy tale with a prince, a princess, a fairy godmother, an evil witch, a castle
with full of toys, colorful candies and cakes, and a talking animal who knows everything,
etc.
Or if you cannot know your audience well, you can search for big channels in your niche
to see what types are the most successful ones and just turn it into yours by changing
the structure.
This is the last and the most important step that you have to remember, because I will
share the one and only formula to turn you from a beginner into a successful creator
with viral YouTube shorts.
And if you already have a channel but are stuck with a few views for each video, you
can also apply to unfreeze your channel.
But first, to have a concrete concept, just spend some time watching this video.
As you can see, this short is just a cut from an interview with Mr. Beast, but after a month
of release, it has only 500 views.
So why can't it gain bigger views?
Easily, it doesn't have separated parts like other viral ones, but is kind of straightforward
and makes audiences feel bored after watching.
On top of that, because this video is not long enough, the audience can't remember
anything if they just watch once.
I don't want my videos to be unworthy like that.
Yes, that's why I'm here to give you the most valuable structure that you can apply
to any video, even long videos like what I'm doing now.
The structure that I'm telling you guys is called HPC, which is short for Hook, Progression
and Climax.
As for long videos, there is a more detailed structure, but I won't mention it here.
So if you pay attention to this video, you will find out that there are sufficiently
three parts, which I will analyze now.
The hook is the first four seconds, in which the little girl drew fake seeds on the watermelon.
While watching this part, the audience might feel curious and ask, what will her plan for
this be?
And it will lead them to the progression part.
This is her purpose.
She gave the bigger watermelon part to her dad and ate the smaller part.
But because the dad didn't like seeds, he asked her to trade and receive the smaller
part.
Thanks to her, we know what is progression of a short.
It's the solution or just a more detailed part for the hook.
Or as in the maze runner, this is when all the members find the way to go out of the
maze.
The climax is when the girl peeled the piece of nylon out of the watermelon to make her
dad shocked and want to trade it back with her.
If you want your audience to be satisfied, just push them to climax, or if you want to
lead them to more of your videos, you can tell them to wait for the next video to see
the result as many creators did.
Now we have the formula in our hands, but I still want to share some tips that make
your channel not only go viral with one video, but for many later videos.
So don't stop watching here, because they are crucial things to decide if you can become
successful or not.
The first tip is the posting time.
Time is money, that's why we have to capture any second to bring your videos to as many
people as possible.
In my experience, morning is the best time to attract more audience, but you know, it
also depends on the kind of content that you make or your type of audience and many other
elements.
So just be flexible and do some experiments before you know your suitable posting time.
One more thing is the upload frequency.
There are many opinions about this, but my advice is don't force yourself too much.
If you want to be a professional content creator, upload once a day is a reasonable frequency,
because no one watches all of your 4 or 5 shorts per day unless they are legendary content.
And if you only post 2 shorts a week, YouTube will not push your channel after a few weeks.
Ok, that's what I want to share with all you guys today.
If you can't remember all of them, here is a quick brief.
First, have a great video idea.
Search for the recent trends of any niche on Google Trends, then add a trend that you
find suitable to your short.
Second, understand your audience.
Whoever they are, just ask yourself, what do they want to watch?
And create a kind of content that you think they will definitely love.
Lastly, create a sustainable structure with hook, progression, and climax, or as I said,
the HPC.
Don't forget to upload frequently and choose the best time of day to access more viewers.
