Hey, Admiral Tim along with the lovely and talented Felicia.
Hey.
We're going to give you our 10 best packing tips when packing for a trip or a cruise, right?
Absolutely.
Let's do it. Start me off.
Let's use these.
Yo-Yo Vac.
Yo-Yo Vac compression bags.
With a suction.
With a suction. How cool is that?
This thing you have in a flashlight too.
So we have one pillow stuffed into this compression bag already.
I challenge you to put two pillows in there.
We're going to try two.
Have you ever put two pillows in a suitcase? Pretty much takes up the whole suitcase.
I mean, you like to take a pillow, your own pillow, don't you?
I don't like feathers, especially in Europe.
They have these nasty feathers for these prehistoric dinosaur birds.
All right, so we've got two pillows in here and clearly it's bulky, right?
We just got this from Yo-Yo Vac.
I did send it to it for promotional consideration, but I'm a huge fan.
I don't take anything I don't believe in.
This thing's amazing.
All right, so you really have to...
Zipper is really tough because it makes an air seal.
Zipper is very tough.
I'm going to turn this on in the meantime.
Can you help push that in?
Yeah.
Like today?
This is powered up.
Want to see the flashlight?
I don't want to see the flashlight.
Look, it's brighter.
Look, let me see that tooth.
All right.
Oh God, it's blinking.
Stop.
All right, here, I got this.
You got to push it down and the zipper is really tough.
That's the only hard part about it.
Once you're in there, wait till you see the results.
This is nuts.
And you have to get...
It's like catching your wee-wee.
You have to get it all the way to the edge here, right?
All the way in, yeah.
Otherwise, you don't have a good seal.
I'm going to double check it.
Okay, now you've got this little hole here.
Okay, so I'm going to...
You don't screw it on, you just kind of hold it on.
Go ahead.
You got it already on?
It's on.
Press it once.
What?
I'm just holding it.
I didn't twist it on or anything.
I'm just holding it.
Hold it on, it's easy.
This is USB-C chargeable.
So charge it up as many times as you want.
You can charge it anywhere in the world, which is really nice.
Okay, that's really cool.
If this fits in my suitcase, I'm going to be thrilled.
It's going to fit in your suitcase.
You can have your own pillow.
You can feel the air still coming out.
There's a little bit more air in there.
I can feel it.
You feel air coming out?
Not really, do you?
I think that's about it.
It's about the size of one pillow, right?
All right, just turn it off.
And that doesn't leak.
So you can leave this off.
It's got a little seal on it.
Look at that.
That is amazing.
My favorite part.
Now go ahead and open it and watch what happens.
All right, so we would technically be able to put this in our suitcase.
And save a ton of space.
Before we do that, I threw this outside.
If you watch my video, I'll link it in the comments.
So I threw it outside, I kicked it a bunch of times,
and I sprayed it with a power washer.
No water got inside.
It was pretty, I'm not going to lie, it was pretty amazing.
It's impressive, right?
So just toss this in your big suitcase and off you go.
And you have your own pillows.
And how much more comfortable are you going to sleep?
That's it, it's awesome.
Bring this on the airplane and everything.
So now you want me to open it up?
Go ahead.
Do I have to pull this up?
No, just open the zipper.
It'll start to inflate.
There it is.
What?
Do you want me to open it all the way up or wait?
You don't even have to.
That's amazing, isn't it?
Okay, that's pretty cool.
This is going to save a ton of space.
You've got bulky sweaters, you've got a lot of jeans,
or if you just want to bring your own pillows.
Right, right.
Amazing blankets.
So now I can bring a ton more stuff than I actually was planning to.
No, you can't.
All right, what's next?
So I've got started some of the packing.
Right on.
And dryer sheets help keep your packing stuff smelling fresh.
So just take a dryer.
Never mind.
Go ahead.
So just take a dryer sheet.
You could cut it if you want.
And just put it in between your clothes.
Maybe I'll do two.
How many?
Just a couple.
Because it might be a little overbearing.
It absolutely could be.
So just put a couple in there.
Keep your clothes smelling fresh.
And if you happen to do laundry somewhere,
at a laundromat somewhere in a third world country.
So how funny you mentioned that.
So I have these.
Is this part of tip number two?
This is part tip number three.
Oh, go ahead.
Transition.
So these are detergent sheets for your washing machine.
Oh, sheets?
They're not liquid?
They're sheets.
I thought they came in a big...
They typically do.
These are sheets.
Wait a minute.
So just take a couple of these sheets
and put them in a Ziploc bag.
How does that work?
Throw them in your luggage.
Wait, these are detergent?
They're deter...
No.
Oh, that's nasty.
Yeah.
Looks like something you could torture your kids with
if they say something bad.
Right.
So put a couple of these in a Ziploc bag,
throw them in your luggage.
And if you need to do a little load of laundry,
something gets soiled,
or you just want to wash your delicates maybe.
If you're going on a long trip like we are,
throw these in your suitcase and do your own laundry
right there in the hotel room.
Or in the kitchen.
And these just dissolve?
And they dissolve.
Just dissolve.
That's pretty cool.
How cool are they?
They don't leave any residue or anything?
They don't leave any residue.
Have you used these?
I have.
You use them in the wash, but you don't...
They don't smell.
No, these are the unscented version
because we like everything unscented.
Interesting.
Right?
Great tip.
Yeah, pretty cool.
We grab this soap dish,
and we put q-tips inside.
No way.
Just to keep them nice and organized.
Because normally they're all over the place
where you put them in a bag
and then they get crushed and they get bent.
So we saw this and we thought, why not?
That's a great idea.
And they fit perfectly.
They do.
Go ahead.
Tip number five.
So instead of bringing big shampoo
and cream rinse bottles...
Which could leak.
It could open and make a terrible mess.
And we always put them in Ziplocs,
but not only could they make a mess,
but they take up a lot of space in your luggage.
Yeah.
So we picked up these
solid shampoo and conditioners.
What?
All right, so let's open them up
and take a look at it.
This looks like a soap bar.
It looks like a soap bar.
And this, what, you just shower with it?
You do.
Oh, it smells nice.
These are made of rice?
They're rice, yeah.
Rice water protein.
This one's a white tea and mandarin flavor.
Same thing.
So is that one, right?
And to activate it...
You just hold it underwater, right?
Yeah, you just hold it underwater.
It says just paint it directly on your hands
and lather it and then massage it in
with your fingertips.
And this one says you can rinse, repeat,
or leave it as a leave-in conditioner.
Sure.
So how nice is that?
So we're going to give that a try as well.
So this is the shampoo.
That's the conditioner.
Right, and one bar equals 100 washes
or two bottles of shampoo and conditioner.
So you don't rub it in your hair.
You rub it on your hands.
I think you rub it on your hands.
So we're going to give this a test.
Okay.
Okay, cool.
Well, that's going to save a ton of space.
That's going to save a ton of space.
Again, trying to reduce the footprint of stuff
that we have in our luggage.
So you can bring more stuff?
So I can bring more.
Great.
Instead of bringing bottles of face wash,
I picked up these Olay cleansing melts.
Oh, I love those.
These little tiny squares.
Get it wet.
Put it in your hand.
It suds up.
Wash your face with it.
And you only have to carry this little container
instead of a big bottle of face wash.
Why wouldn't you just use soap and water?
Oh, no.
Ladies don't like to use...
It's a girl thing?
It's a girl thing.
We don't like to use just soap and water.
Don't get crazy.
Tip number six.
Love it.
Don't get crazy.
I will never use this, but okay.
And seven?
All right, look.
You get in some of these hotel rooms
and some of these cruise ship rooms,
especially the non-suite areas,
and they're kind of sketch, right?
So you might...
Even though they clean them pretty well,
I'm sure they're totally clean when you get in there.
Absolutely.
They are.
They're very thorough.
But you never know.
There's some areas that are a little more sketchy.
You can feel some sliminess on handles in the shower
or the toilet buttons.
Or if you're just OCD about cleanliness.
Or if you're just weird like me,
you just want to clean.
So Clorox wipes.
You can get these little ones here.
It's really nice to go.
There's nine in here.
I bring a couple of these with me, all right?
Wet ones.
When you're sitting in the airport
or you're waiting to get on your cruise
and you're eating Doritos
and you've got orange fingers,
instead of wiping them on Felicia's shirt...
Which she does.
You can use wet ones
because sometimes there's not easy access to a bathroom.
That's right.
And you can't get there.
And it's really nice to be able to do that.
And nice to have with you
when you're out on an excursion or a tour.
Right on.
Right?
And you don't have access to...
Throw it in your backpack.
Exactly.
You don't have access to a bathroom.
And they're kids.
If you have kids, these are great for kids.
I'm always giving them baths and stuff.
But I'm more interested in this one.
These are called Dude Wipes.
Now, if you like to be clean down there,
these are great.
But here's the thing.
When you get yourself clean down there,
you have residue.
Residue.
If you know what I'm saying.
Look, I like a clean, shorn ass.
I'm not going to lie.
Right.
But you use these and you cannot...
You cannot flush these down the toilet
in a lot of hotels in Europe
because they have some of the plumbing
and 2,000 years old, right?
And definitely not on a cruise ship.
In a cruise ship, they'll charge you $100 at the time.
Plus, it's really embarrassing.
Did you put this in there?
That's right.
Just give me the bill.
So these things come with a...
Well, they don't come with it.
We put little...
If you have a dog.
This is our hack.
We have a dog and we have these little doggie bags
to pick up her poo
because we're responsible citizens of the world
and we don't want to leave it out there
for somebody to step in
and it creates diseases and stuff.
So we take the doggie bags,
take your soil dude wipe or whatever you want.
Other people make these too.
Women use these too.
And put it in here so you don't have to look
at the brown residue on these things
because it will stink up your bathroom.
Something fierce.
Believe me, I've done it.
So this is a neat little hack.
Don't forget your little dog bags.
These are really inexpensive too.
So you just bag it up, tie it up
and throw it in the trash can.
You don't have to smell them.
And neither does the room attendants.
You don't have to.
Nobody has to see your residue.
We're going to call that, okay?
Residue.
All right, let's talk about the shoes.
We originally did this and we did that
because my boots, sometimes I wear hiking boots.
When we went to Iceland and other places
where we're going to hike,
they would not fit in the other things
we're going to show you here.
Yeah, he just put his dirty shoes
on my kitchen counter.
I put it sideways.
We'll be using the Clorox ones.
Sideways.
So if you have these shopping bags,
these little plastic bags,
I know a lot of places like New Jersey
don't give these to you anymore.
I think they're illegal in a lot of states.
But if you still get these,
we're here in Florida.
These make a great way to store big shoes.
I have a size 12 foot and these boots are huge
and they fit in here nicely.
And this way the dirt on the bottom
don't get all over your clothes.
Exactly.
So just throw that in your luggage.
It's amazing how many people I know
that just put their shoes in with their suitcase,
it's disgusting.
We have seen it a lot.
This is so much nicer.
Joe Money, I'm talking to you.
Go ahead.
But we came up with another idea.
Go ahead.
All right.
Shower caps.
These are great too.
These will fit.
So actually I got my size 12s in one of these.
So I have a pair of shoes here.
So there's one.
I could put both of them.
Absolutely could fit both of them and fit in there.
That's good to go.
If you really want to be safe.
Double up.
And then throw that in your luggage
and don't have to worry about anything.
Love that.
Okay, I love that.
I think it's super handy.
And then that's really cheap too.
You buy them at Walmart.
I think it packs like 100 or whatever.
And we got 50 of these.
These are the same little footies
that construction workers use
when they're doing new tile or new structures
or home inspections and stuff.
And we saw these at our front door
when we did our walkthrough.
I'm like, these are a great idea.
So I picked up a bunch of these for my size.
So a little more expensive,
but you can find them on Amazon pretty inexpensive.
Get a pack of 100 for, I don't know,
it was like 15 bucks, I think.
Yeah, the shower caps,
we just picked up at the dollar store.
It was like four bucks or something,
you know, for like 100 of those.
So these are great.
These are exactly what these are meant to do.
And three great ways to keep the shoe schmutz
of the rest of your clothes.
Right.
This is one of my favorite things.
I always, I like to wear white,
but I try not to wear white on cruises
and when we travel because things happen.
Wine, spaghetti sauce, seafood, grease, oil.
We are going to Rome.
We'll be eating a lot of pasta.
We gotta do pasta, right?
So nobody wants to wear black all the time, right?
Although I do most of the time.
Look what I'm wearing now.
But these Tide pens, there's a Tide mini now.
This is really small.
And this will take a lot of oil out
or it'll take stains out
if you hit a light colored shirt with it very quickly.
If there's no way to go to the bathroom
or use seltzer or some of those other tricks,
these things will save you
and they'll fit right in your pocket.
It's awesome.
It's really tiny too.
I'm really amazed.
I just saw these.
I didn't know they had them in there.
I didn't know they had minis either.
They may have been around,
but it's the first time I saw them.
So I love these.
Take this with you for whenever you go out to dinner.
It's a great idea whenever you travel.
What's next?
Or just around town.
Yeah, yeah.
It doesn't have to be just for traveling.
Or home.
Right, right.
I haven't done laundry in six months.
Go ahead.
Air tags.
Yep.
This is an old trick too,
but we put one of these in every one of our bags,
including the backpacks that we travel with.
And they're so inexpensive now.
You can buy a three pack for a pretty affordable price.
And there's other companies who make these too.
And you can see exactly where your luggage is.
If somebody happens to rip something off,
you can kind of keep an eye for a while
and tell the authorities where your stuff is
and hopefully get a chance of getting it back.
Sometimes these people in foreign countries,
they'll bust the windows in your car or van
because they'll identify you as tourists.
They'll follow people from the airport.
In Italy, this happens a bunch.
Smash the windows out, take your luggage.
But they won't keep your luggage.
They don't want your clothes.
They're looking for electronics.
So this will be able to get your luggage back
so you don't lose everything.
Yeah, you might lose electronics.
If you don't have any electronics,
you may not lose anything.
And they'll dump these in a dumpster.
You'll know exactly where it is.
And you don't have to go out and buy a whole new wardrobe.
So love these things.
We keep them in everything.
Yo-Yo Vac, we showed you a little earlier in this video,
does come with a Find My tag.
It comes with one.
And you can put that in one of your suitcases.
You can get more if you want to.
So we saw this.
This is genius.
We saw this somewhere.
And we took these little tiny containers,
picked them up, these little things at Walmart,
and some Vaseline.
I didn't think this would work.
It does.
So we stuffed some Vaseline in here.
This is his.
We used this little scoop, got the Vaseline out,
put it in here.
Sprayed, I don't know.
We sprayed a crap ton.
10 pumps, I suppose.
It was a lot.
He really likes to smell good.
It was three weeks.
And we mixed that in with the Vaseline.
And now when he wants to put this on,
just a little bit, bro.
Oh, that's a lot.
I might get lucky today.
How do I smell?
You smell great.
So yeah, this is a great way to put your perfume or cologne
so it won't spill over.
And you are not affected by limits of how much liquid
you could bring in.
I mean, feel how heavy this is.
It is.
And it's glass.
Compared to this.
And this is a screw-on top, too, which I love.
It's a screw-on top so we can screw it on real nice and tight.
No way that's going to come loose unless it gets crushed.
But then everything else is going to be great.
You're going to pack this between clothes, right?
Yeah.
So there's no way that's going to come off.
Or throw it in my makeup bag.
Yeah.
That's awesome.
You got these at Walmart?
Got these little things at Walmart.
Vaseline at Walmart.
I think it's a great idea.
Do you use Vaseline for anything else?
No.
Oh, you do it.
What else you got?
You have another one for us?
Nope, that's it.
That's everything.
Great tips for cruising, for traveling, going to hotels.
We're actually heading to Rome, Italy for four days.
We are.
And then we're doing a Norwegian cruise.
It's actually five days, but who's counting?
And then a Mediterranean cruise for how many days?
11.
Apparently, I can't count.
I have questions about my math skills here.
And we're ready to go.
