AI GeneratedThis tutorial demonstrates two different techniques for achieving a \"soft French\" manicure. The first method uses regular polish for a quicker application, while the second utilizes builder gel for added depth and a more diffused effect. Both methods focus on blurring the traditional sharp white line to create a modern, soft-glow aesthetic.
Welcome to Gellar's Nail Art Tutorials. Today I'm going to show you how to create the perfect soft
French two ways. Once you've completed your nail prep on either your natural nail or nail tip,
apply your base coat. Then you're ready to add the nail art. Tap the information icon on the
top right hand corner to watch our full application tutorial to see these steps in details.
When you're ready, let's get started. Method one uses regular polish from start to finish,
no builder gel, so it's the quicker option of the two. Start with a clear base coat over clean
prepped nails and cure for the 60 seconds. Apply one thin coat of French kiss over the entire nail
and cure again. Load up your liner brush with just white and paint a curved line along the
smile line of your nail. Start at one side, curving towards the middle with the mirror on the other
side. Then fill in this area. You could also use the silicone nail stamper if you're struggling
with the French tip freehand. Cure for 30 seconds. Then apply a second coat of French kiss over the
nail including the white tip you've painted. This is the step that blurs the hard edge of the white
into the soft diffused line. Cure for 60 seconds. To finish, apply one thin coat of the milky top
coat over the entire nail. This gives the look an extra soft milky glow instead of that hard
French line. Cure for a final 60 seconds, then apply and work in cuticle oil and that's this
method done. No builder gel required. The second method using builder gel is still super easy to
achieve. Start by painting your French tip over your base coat. Load your liner brush with just
white and follow the smile line in a curve starting at one side and sweeping towards the center of the
nail. Mirror on the other side to finish the tip and fill in. Cure for 30 seconds. Next you're going
to apply your builder gel over your French design. For this look I've chosen milky pink. Start by
applying either a thin layer and building an apex or applying two to three thin coats of the builder
gel. This is what will create the super soft look of the French underneath the builder gel polish.
Next going in with a medium liner brush just make sure your builder gel is nice and even
and is wrapping around the sides of your nail as well. Cure for 60 seconds. Finally we're going to
top this off with a layer of our milky top coat just to create again that super soft blurred look.
Apply in a nice even thin layer and cure for 60 seconds. To finish off the look take your cuticle
oil and apply and work into the cuticle area. So there's two easy ways to create the perfect
on-trend soft French manicure. Subscribe to our channel to see all the latest tutorials
