A travel vlog documenting a one-day excursion to Siquijor Island in the Philippines. The journey covers the trip from Temehlete via ferry and explores the island's unique blend of mystical folklore, historic architecture, serene beaches, and natural wonders, highlighting the island's reputation for healing traditions and laid-back charm.
Another beautiful day here in the Philippines. We woke up extra early today as we prepared to
catch the morning ferry from Temehlete to Siquijor. Getting up that early was definitely a struggle
but it was only one full day to explore Siquijor and we wanted to make most out of it anyway.
Mission C530. Oh look at him.
We'll take care of your luggage if you don't get to come.
It's okay you can go uh you can go get your lady now. Go get your rubbing hug all day.
Good morning. Filipino. We get to sleep in a little bit.
There's no room to sleep in. You gotta go to the cockpit. Baby breathe babe.
You need to breathe.
This is our breakfast from the hotel. This is actually really heavy. Good morning.
Now we're just eating our breakfast. Breakfast is from the hotel. They're so nice because they let us
take away the breakfast. My breakfast still a hundred percent and let's check Chad's.
He's too scared to say to any female. See he basically thinks he knows he knows how it works.
Breakfast, coffee, sunrise views and new island adventure ahead. Definitely not a bad way to start
the day. We boarded Ocean Jet and made our way to Siquijor Island. The ferry ride took about an hour
and thankfully the boat ride wasn't that bad at all. The sea was calm, the weather was nice
and before we knew it we arrived right on time. Welcome to Siquijor, a beautiful island tucked
away in the Visayan region of the Philippines. Known for its folklore, healing traditions
and mystical stories passed down through generations.
You see all the fish right there on top?
Do you like James or Jim? James.
Beyond all the legends, Siquijor is rich in culture, natural beauty and laid-back island life.
Our first stop was the famous Lazy Church, one of the oldest churches in the province
built back in 1884. The church has its timeless charm to it, simple yet beautiful.
With its old stone walls and historic atmosphere that instantly transport you back in time.
After taking some pictures at Lazy Church, we stopped for a light snack at Blue Cafe.
We mainly chose this cafe because of the scenic views and it did not disappoint. The cafe is
beautifully made out of wood giving it a cozy tropical vibe and you'll need to remove your
shoes before walking in, which made the whole experience feel more relaxed and homey.
We ordered a tuna sandwich and some empanadas while enjoying the peaceful views. Honestly,
it was a perfect little break from all the traveling. After relaxing for a bit,
we continued our adventure to one of the most famous beaches in the island,
the Palitan Beach. Palitan Beach is known for its beautiful white sand, crystal clear water
and laid back island atmosphere. All right, welcome to the town of Siquijor. We're here
today at Palitan Beach. So I'm trying to look for some souvenirs to take to my friends. Siquijor is
a mystic or magical land and they are known for the voodoo dolls, witches and crafts,
things like that. So that's what I'm trying to find today. Along the beach,
you will find a little souvenir shop selling handmade items and even voodoo dolls, something
Siquijor is famously known for because of its mystical folklore and healing traditions.
Of course, we also had to try the famous beach swim while getting videos from so-called human
drones. This local literally ran around the beach filming cinematic videos of tourists.
We also got to try some local island snacks like Lato, also known as green bobo seaweed and fresh
sea urchins right by the beach. Even though the water looks super inviting, we decided not to
since we still had more stops ahead. We didn't want to deal with changing back into our wet clothes.
So instead, we just soak in the views, relax on the beach and took lots of photos before heading
to our next adventure. Our Siquijor adventures continues with a stop at one of the island's
This tree believed to be over 400 years old. This massive tree is surrounded by local legends
and it's said to be home to mystical spirits, making it one of the Siquijor's most iconic
attractions. Before leaving, we couldn't resist checking out the little souvenir shops nearby.
They were filled with charms or a gimmick. Traditional talismans believed to offer
protection or good luck and even bottles of mysterious potions. It's a real
with a cross like when they slice it.
Since Siquijor is known as the island of folk healing, we figured we might as well go all in
and bring home a little bit of the magic. After our quick stop, we headed to our next destination,
the Lagaan Falls. While Siquijor has bigger and more popular waterfalls, we chose Lagaan because
we wanted to avoid the flowers. It's best known for its fun cars and swings where you can channel
your inner adventure before splashing into the refreshing water below.
After realizing the water is too cold, Chad chose a different route how to get into the water.
All that water went right up my nose and down my nose. I was gagging like
What's going on? It's ripped!
Chad!
Honestly, Lagaan Falls was the perfect choice. Peaceful surroundings, crystal clear water
and plenty of time to enjoy the moment without the crowds.
Sometimes the less popular spots end up being the most memorable. And yes, we found a hidden paradise.
Oh my gosh. Slowly, slowly. Lagaan Falls is beautiful. I had a great time. The water is so nice too.
I feel like the devil in me wants to take a big glass of tap water and just see if it cleans
out my entire system. I don't think you have to worry about that area. No, I don't think so or
else we already already have water. I was gonna say because we drank the water from that one
place yesterday and then I've been using it to brush my teeth. Yeah and all the juice that is
That was fun guys.
Can you do double back? Maybe. Well those ones I just wanted the time so that I didn't
face you know splash on my face like get in the water. If I had more times I would just
try to get momentum and then just flip as many, go into the catamount and flip as many times.
I think you probably could have done it if you're trying to push you on a registry.
I'm just saying. The second flip. When did you rip your shorts? No, I ripped it on the first one.
I ripped it in the crotch the first one so that my second one just fully ripped it.
It made you more aerodynamic. The life of Drudeen. Vietnam, check. Philippines,
check. See Chad Manchester's balls in cock, check. My life has been fulfilled.
