This is my sister, Grace, and she is in big trouble.
There is a huge blizzard on its way right now,
ready to bury her in feet of deep snow.
She just moved into her dream house,
and she is underprepared for this huge blizzard.
So I need to gather my supplies and drive over 400 miles
to her house and get in before the blizzard hits.
And if I can't get there in time,
she's going to be completely buried in the snow.
It was a beautiful day at the Team Roar house
when all of a sudden, my sister, Grace, called.
Huh? Oh, hey, Grace.
Connor, Connor, Connor, you there?
What's up? What's going on?
Oh, my goodness. I can't believe it.
I need your help. Huge snowstorm about to hit.
A huge snowstorm at your house?
Yes. We're in a state of emergency.
Oh, my gosh. OK, well, what do you need?
Well, one, I won't survive on my own.
Two, I don't have enough supplies.
And I know you have all the good snow stuff,
like your snowmobile, your ATV.
I'm going to need you to bring all that up here.
OK, so I'll have to bring all the snow gear.
How much snow are you getting?
26 inches is what they're calling for.
26 inches of snow.
Grace, I'm going to have to bring the snowmobile,
the ATV, everything I got.
When does it hit? Tonight at 1130.
Grace, that's less than 12 hours away.
OK, I got to hurry.
So I ran down to the brown garage
to get the Cybertruck completely loaded up.
I need to bring as much snow gear as I possibly can
so we can try to survive this crazy storm.
First, we put the snowmobile on the trailer.
And next, we're going to see if the ATV
can fit in the back of the Cybertruck.
It is. That's pretty cool.
I'm actually really impressed.
We are about to tow the quad and the snowmobile.
That is exciting.
OK, you ready, Mom? We got to go. Grace needs us.
We have a lot to pack, as Grace says.
She doesn't even have food.
The grocery stores are completely sold out up there.
Grace hasn't gotten any food yet
because she was not looking at the weather whatsoever.
So we're bringing all the food that we can pack.
If the storm hits as bad as they're calling for,
they're saying to prepare for up to three to five days
without power, which would be a long time.
We're going to be super cold.
So I hope all this is cooked.
And I don't know if she's got firewood
or a fireplace. She doesn't.
Last one, and we'll have Mama Cheryl loaded up.
OK, so I think that's everything.
OK, let's go. You got to go.
It's taking us longer than I expected to pack so far.
So we're running behind.
We do need to make it in because if it starts before we get in,
we're going to get stuck and stranded
and not make it to her house.
I'm afraid traffic's going to be bad.
The Cybertruck is so loaded up
that the battery range is not going to make it in one charge.
We'll have to stop at least once, hopefully not twice.
OK, you're all packed up.
Mom's getting on the road before us.
So just call me when you get in
and let me know if the weather starts hitting soon.
Will do.
OK, we'll be right behind you.
Keep me posted. Bye.
Bye. And she's off.
One car down, one to go.
We got the Cybertruck up at the house.
We got the ATV in it.
We got the snowmobile in the back.
Now I just need to load up all the personal things that I need.
I packed up everything I'm going to need to survive
the next few days stuck in a blizzard.
Grace just moved into a brand new house,
which I'm going to show you guys if we can get there.
That means she has very little supplies.
So I need everything from a snowmobile helmet to clothes to food
because she's not even grocery shopping.
So this is going to be quite the survival over the next week.
I think we're just about ready to go so we can jump and run
and go catch my mom on the highway.
I am way behind schedule.
I got to get going because at this rate, I'm not making it in before the blizzard.
Grace's house, here I come.
Wow, guys, I have not seen this before.
We have to stop one, two, three times just to make it to Grace's house.
We have to stop for 30 minutes, 40 minutes and 20 minutes.
Each of those are major amounts of charge.
Normally I make it in one go without charging at all.
So we are super duper behind schedule.
We're going to play a little game.
I'm going to start a counter right now.
This is a stopwatch.
We're going to see how many hours it takes to get to Grace's.
It normally takes anywhere from three and a half to about four hours
to get to Grace's house.
You saw the stops comment down below right now.
How many total hours we just left until we get to Grace's house?
My vote is going to be five and a half.
What do you guys think?
It might be two days if it snows.
We don't know. We got to make it in time.
We are pulling up at charge stop number one
because of the trailer on the side.
We are not going to fit.
We're taking up probably like 15 different spots.
Let's see. Oh, my goodness.
Let's plug in.
We are taking up a total of one, two, three, four, five spots.
We are lucky to have found such a large one with literally so many spots.
It was twenty eight degrees.
It is now twenty four.
So it's dropping and it's going to be getting as low as six degrees.
Time to keep going.
So Carter texted me asking if I have a lot of food at the house.
I was like, no.
So I got really scared, ran over to Costco.
Luckily, they actually had a lot of food left.
All right, Grace, we got to go.
We keep moving.
Oh, my. That was like five snowplows in a row.
They are getting ready.
I think it's only a few more hours before the snow starts to come down.
Like the sky is already completely white snow truck right there.
Look how huge that is.
Any snowstorm in the past.
We've never had a snowplow this big.
This is like so huge.
It's going to be a very severe storm.
I'm so worried.
Calling my sister, Grace.
Let's see if she answers.
Hello. I'm on the road.
I'm heading towards you right now.
Oh, good. I just storm stomped at Costco.
It's mayhem.
I'm driving to you right now, but the truck is so heavy loaded.
We're not going to get in until really late.
Oh, no. How late?
Will it be after the snow?
I don't know. It could.
There's a chance we get in after the storm starts to hit.
So it could be icy. I'm worried.
If that's true, we might get stuck.
Well, I'm going to do my best to try to get in right before the blizzard hits.
Hopefully you make it.
I'm kind of worried that you might not now.
This could be a disaster.
OK, I'll see you soon. OK.
OK, we are here at stop number two, and luckily it's completely empty.
So we're going to do the same pull around trick
where we just park and block five or more spots.
Let's hope this works.
This time we're blocking one, two, three, four.
It's actually a little better than last time.
Let's hope these will have the juice.
Oh, my goodness.
I think the snow is starting.
I think we have flurries, guys.
I thought that was salt, but no, that is ice.
It's starting to snow.
OK, well, it's definitely cold enough, but we have not made it very far, guys.
This trip has been really slow.
This is our second stop.
So we're going to be stopping like four or more times.
Oh, boy. I'm getting nervous.
OK, so we're at the last Tesla charger,
but there's no way we can charge with the trailer on.
We're so close to Grace's house,
but we do need to charge one more time to make it there.
And the snow plows are out.
All the street signs are saying do not travel.
I feel like we're the only ones out even thinking about traveling right now.
So unhooking this just to charge and then hook back up.
We only have to charge for 10 minutes.
I sure hope I know what I'm doing.
Well, let's see if we can fit into the spot.
I am a little worried with the ATV out the back.
Check it out, guys.
This thing is stretched tight.
It's about as far as I could.
And unfortunately, I had to use the van accessible one
just because I couldn't fit in the regular one.
I'm only going to be here 10 minutes.
But guys, look at this.
Because of the ATV sticking out the back, it makes it so I can't get that far.
So I'm over like two spots and lined up in a weird way just to make this work.
I was really worried.
I was going to have to take the ATV out of the bed just to plug in.
But we got it.
We are good.
I think that's on.
We're charged and hooked up one last time.
We got to head to Grace's house.
We're only 30 minutes away.
Let's hop in.
Let's go.
One of the craziest things ever, guys.
I think that was a total of like 30 snowplows in just one small segment.
The entire country, I feel like, is allocating snowplows to this area
because this is the epicenter of the blizzard of the decade
or I think 40 years or something.
It's the most amount of snow that this area is going to have seen.
And we are about to get here just in time.
Yes, guys, we made it in just about six hours.
So any of you guys comment down below that it would take six hours to get here?
Well, you were right.
We got to pull in.
I can't believe it.
If you guys haven't seen Grace's mansion yet, I am so excited.
Oh, I see her. She's in the window.
Oh, six hours later, we made it.
Oh, he knew it was you from your car.
Little baby boy.
Hey, Grace.
So cold out. Oh, my goodness.
Yeah, it's freezing.
It's getting colder and colder.
Look at his. He's got his PJs on.
Yeah, it's no PJs.
He's hoping for no school.
He's a little storm stomper.
Wow. OK, we got all the toys.
Wow. This is exactly what we need.
ATV, snowmobile. We got it all.
We're not going to get stuck.
We're going to have so much fun.
Going up, moving in.
If you guys haven't seen Grace's house, you'll be able to see a little bit.
We'll do a house tour tomorrow during the snow.
But right now, we'll get the little mini house tour.
This house is so cool because it has two staircases and a catwalk upstairs.
Check this out.
Oh my gosh, I almost hit you up here.
That's so cool.
I'm staying in here? Yeah.
This will be my room for the next potentially week of getting completely snowed in.
We just got the car unloaded.
Now we have to unload the toys.
What time is it?
I mean, it is nine o'clock.
So we got in just a few hours to spare.
We've got to find a spot to put the trailer.
I think we're going to park in Grace's side yard.
But what if we get so much snow that you can't get her out?
I'm going to have to leave all the toys here for a bit until it melts.
Maybe we just unload here and then I'll just pull around and dump it.
I can't see a thing driving this in reverse.
OK, so Matt would prefer us to push this thing back,
but I feel like we need to just drive it in reverse.
I think we're going to have to start it.
Let's just give it a cold start.
It seems like reverse isn't actually engaging.
We might have to just roll it off.
Unload the ATV.
Have the toys unloaded.
OK, Grace, it is so cold out.
I know.
What are you guys doing out in the garage?
Building a snowblower.
That little thing?
Electric power.
Grace, this is more like Walmart.
Oh wait, no, no, no.
There's a little one and there's a big one.
Grace, you know we're up here like two feet.
This is like worse than a shovel.
No, that's a handheld.
This is a big one.
We're building this now?
Well, we have to get ready.
It's going to start snowing.
Yeah, but it's late.
OK, this is a little bit better,
but I don't know if even this is going to cut it.
Well, that's why we do it in waves.
Like once it only gets three inches, we go out in sessions.
I see.
Oh, there she is.
Hello.
Mama made it.
I did.
Before the storm.
I brought brownies, but they're not baked.
I got bake your own brownies.
Just set your oven and bake away.
OK, let's get that going.
OK.
Buzz, Mama's here.
Mama's here.
Oh my goodness.
Hey, baby.
Oh, you got to go to go to go.
It's midnight and the snow is officially starting, guys.
You can see it coming down.
There's a little bit on the table right here, but it's time for bed.
So I'm going to be running a time lapse to see what we get all night.
We're supposed to be getting almost two feet of snow.
And it's like 15 degrees outside right now.
I can't wait to see what tomorrow is.
But for now, I got to get some sleep.
Alexa, lights off.
Oh my goodness, a good morning, guys.
First things first, the snow is piled up against the door multiple inches.
Let's go outside and see what it's like.
Oh, it's deep.
And it's coming down hard right now.
It is completely covered in snow.
We are in the middle of a blizzard right now.
This is so exciting.
It is so deep.
I'm not even making it down to the driveway.
There's so much snow under my foot.
This is wild.
Oh, it's thick and heavy.
It's hard to walk in.
Guys, this is incredible.
We successfully made it in time to Grace's house for the blizzard.
According to the weather, we are about halfway through what's coming down.
We're about to get this much again.
It's going to be close to knee deep or something out here.
It's well below freezing.
It's about 16 degrees.
Snowplows have been running nonstop through the night.
I mean, we saw hundreds of them last night, literally hundreds of snowplows.
We'll have to see if we can get the Cybertruck up and running.
I don't know how it does with such cold weather.
We've got Grace's Model Y.
We have the Polaris.
And of course, we have the snowmobile.
Look at this.
This is truly incredible.
We are storm chasing at the finest.
I need to run inside, though, because I am completely underdressed.
Oh, my hair is completely frozen.
That is crazy.
This is so fun.
Oh, it's so thick.
It's hard to walk in.
I'm piled up against the door.
That is so fun.
I've never seen that before.
It's like out of a movie.
Oh, that's crazy out there.
Good morning.
I'm pulling up the little baby.
Buzz, you got little boots on.
I don't even know if they fit.
They're so hard to get on because there's like no zipper.
The snow is deeper than that.
I can tell you that much.
I know.
I just remember the snowstorm at your house.
He got so cold that now I'm paranoid.
Hey, baby.
All right, Buzz, come on.
Let's test out your new boots.
Yes.
Good boy.
I think he's ready for the snow.
His booty's hanging out.
Buzz is out in the snow.
You need to come back in.
There's Buzz.
Oh, he's so cold.
And he's back inside, Grace.
He didn't go to the bathroom.
He didn't?
No.
It's too cold out here.
There's no grass.
Uh-oh.
He's going to probably go inside, I think.
Where'd he go?
Hey, Buzz, where are you going?
Hey, you can't potty in here.
Grace, I think he's going to potty in the house.
I got him.
OK, so we just got the snowmobile running.
I got to show you guys the fit.
I'm about to put you guys on the helmet cam.
And we're going to go ride that snowmobile
for the first time ever at Grace's house in a huge blizzard.
Look at this, guys.
It's a winter wonderland out here.
So amazing.
We got the ATV started.
We're going to just leave it running so it stays warm.
And we're going to get this running again.
And hopefully, she's still OK.
We're about to find out.
Let's give it a good pull.
Everybody knows the rules.
You just get one.
Make sure she goes.
Yep.
OK.
Let's ride.
This is so fun.
Snowmobiling at your mansion.
Why don't you get a lap under your belt?
You've been dying for this.
It's so much fun out here.
It's so crazy.
So much snow.
So exciting.
The type of snow is crazy.
Yeah, the snow is crazy.
Everything.
It's going to be here for, like, months.
Well, there's no signs of this blizzard slowing down.
We don't know what the state of the city looks like
because we haven't left the house.
But we're going to take the ATV to the end of the neighborhood
just to kind of get an eye of what the neighborhood's
looking like, what's going on.
And if we need food, like, can we go anywhere?
Is anybody out?
Let's find out.
One neighbor trying to shovel his driveway.
They're getting really bad again really quick.
And I can't go very fast because the frozen rain
hurts really bad.
We're only going, like, 20 miles an hour, and it's too fast.
We've got something going on up here.
Big snowplow.
Looks like they're working on it.
That thing might be a little stuck.
So now we're out to the main road.
Oh, we're getting a red light.
Oh, well.
Yeah.
I can't even turn out here.
The roads are terrible.
Snow is so thick.
The snowmobile does great in the snow,
but terrible on the icy roads because it doesn't turn.
The ATV does terrible in the snow because it's just so thick.
It also doesn't do the roads too well either
because it's just so icy.
It's terrible conditions.
Definitely not worth driving.
And it's been freezing rain accumulating all day.
It's insane out here.
Literally insane.
This thing is no good off-road.
It's two feet of frozen rain.
This stuff is wild out here.
Yeah, like, big balls.
Huge big balls.
Well, we got to get going, Grace.
We need all the shovels and hands on deck we can get.
We shoveled it twice today, and it's
already eight more inches again.
So we're going to just strap in.
We have some serious work to do.
The shovel is now buried.
Oh, this is not good.
Check this out, guys.
We got the Tesla truck on defrost mode.
Let's go outside and see if that's going to do anything.
There's so much snow now that this door can't close.
We need to shovel this back out.
Oh, it's going to be so heavy.
This is literally insane.
We're going to try to move the Teslas out of here.
You can see it's working.
It's trying.
But we're going to have to help it along the best we can.
I think this is going to be OK.
Oh, this is literally like an iceberg of snow.
OK.
You trying to get her going?
That's it.
Nice.
Hi.
Oh, my goodness.
It's so thick.
Yeah, we got horsepower now.
Snowplow's coming.
We better hurry.
It's been 24 hours since the snowfall.
Yesterday was a total inside day.
We did not leave.
And there is still so much snow everywhere.
We also haven't heard from our parents.
Mama Cher, she was with me on the day we drove up here.
But for almost 48 hours now, I haven't even heard from her.
So we're going to go over to the Sheriff's house
and give her a check.
I hope we can even make it to her house.
I know.
Let's go see what everything looks
like two days after an apocalyptic amount of snow.
Let's see how the roads are, because this
is going to be a little crazy.
It's probably about the ice and people trying to stop,
and they slip and slide.
And there's pretty much like a wall.
It looks like a big curve on the side of the road.
It's about three feet tall on either side
where they pushed all the snow.
It's pretty crazy.
This is two days after the snow, and it's still nasty.
Temperatures have not gone above freezing.
I have no idea what to expect over at the Sheriff's house.
Oh, my gosh, it's ice.
Grace, look at how much snow.
It's like eight, it's 10 feet tall.
It's as tall as the stop sign.
That is insane.
Grace, look, there's deer in the road.
Oh, my.
They can't get on their path.
The snow is throwing them off.
They're going to like sink.
Oh, my goodness.
That is crazy.
It literally looks like we're looking at like reindeer
up north, which is so weird for Virginia.
I know it's just deer, but they look like reindeer
with all the snow.
What the heck?
There's just a huge snowball in the middle of the road.
Solid.
And we made it to the Sheriff's house.
Guys, we are pulling up.
It looks completely frozen.
We're going to have to curb hop the snow.
I got to make sure we're like in lift kit mode.
I don't want to catch a bumper as we climb over all this snow.
OK, well, their driveway is partially plowed,
so they must be here doing something.
But the house is completely covered.
Let's go find Mama Sheriff.
OK, they did plow, but this is icy.
No, even just up on the deck here.
I got here a dog.
Oh, it's Cooper.
Hi, Cooper.
Hi, baby.
Oh, my gosh, you're going crazy.
Hey, hey.
Where's Mama?
Hello?
First day.
Guys, we got baby Otter, the OG puppy.
He's so cute.
If you survive the snow, I'm having a hard time here.
Nope, he's doing good.
He's actually incredible.
He's incredible.
He goes out there right in the cold.
Don't you, Otter?
He's got a little pup in his step.
Wait a second, Mom.
I just realized that this house is no longer destroyed.
Last time I was here, this Sheriff M house
was completely destroyed.
There was a dumpster outside, and everything
was filled with dust and smoke.
And the walls and paper hanging everywhere.
And if I'm remembering correctly,
I climbed out of the window and slid down
to the dumpster from upstairs.
It was completely destroyed.
And now it looks truly amazing.
We have the kitchen table, the kitchen, all of this.
This is literally my first time, guys,
seeing the completed kitchen.
Let's go and check it out.
New stove, which, as you can see,
is a mess because we are using it like crazy.
Look at the countertop.
I mean, the colors are so unique.
You did such an interesting job picking up all of this,
like, green.
And it's not quite gold.
Everything's, like, a unique color.
It's so interesting when you look at houses
and how you renovate them from going out of the style
in the 90s or the 80s.
I guess this is now 2020s style.
This is so interesting.
It looks great.
So the house was built in 1990.
That had the original kitchen.
And I did buy a new refrigerator.
I'll take a look at this refrigerator.
This thing is huge.
This is one of the fanciest refrigerators I have seen.
Wow.
This is cool.
Oh, wow. It's huge.
It's, like, double-sized, massive.
This is so cool.
And this is probably the freezer down here.
Yep.
Wow. Super luxurious.
There's ice under there, but you can't find the ice.
Oh, there it is.
We got a drawer full of ice.
A little water feature right there.
Whoa.
That's cool.
OK, let's test this out.
We have a little mini garage door.
Air fryer station.
That's cool.
So is this where baby Otter gets his baths?
I'm just thinking.
Let's get room for him in there.
Here you go.
Bath time.
Oh, you're not going to get wet.
He's like, guys, I'm not right now.
He doesn't want to get wet.
The pond is completely frozen over.
Whoa, there's weird footprints here,
marks all the way across.
I didn't see that.
Oh, man.
Do you think the pond monster is around?
There's a really weird drag line across.
You know, I didn't see that till just now.
I don't know if it's been there, but I didn't even notice it.
Something clearly slithered.
It drug a path all the way across the pond.
I might need to go down there and check it out.
That is weird looking.
We have another pond monster sighting.
It's been a full year since we've seen something.
So we're going to go to the pond right now,
and we're going to see if we can get this thing.
The thing that worked great last year was the chainsaw.
We made it.
And sure enough, guys, this is what
we're coming down here for.
If you see behind me, there's this weird pattern
slithering across the lake to the other side,
and then there's a dark shadow.
So I feel like the pond monster started
to freeze with all that heavy snow that came down,
and it slithered its way.
And now it's chilling on the other side there.
I mean, you guys, look at this design.
We have a slither and a dark, shadowy thing on the side.
All right, guys, here we go.
We got the underwater cam.
We're going to be looking into the porthole
under the frozen lake.
Here we go.
Slowly and surely, let's dip it under and take a look.
Oh my gosh, look right there.
Can you see that?
Oh, oh no.
We got to go.
This is too dangerous now.
